every bit as cozy as i hoped it would be, the mechanics are really engaging and the pacing is quite nice. I found the literary challenges incredibly difficult, and the patterns of people's buying habits in the different locations were important to keep track of, I love a game that makes me take notes! The journal has some of the stats, but I mean a spreadsheet, and those missed opportunities of a book not found being tracked. Cons: I wish there were more articles from the newsletter. I find the storage limited, and while that's a big part of the challenge, balancing the genres, I am unable to meet the demand and somehow I am unable to save up much money despite making so many sales. Also I wish that I had more control of the books I stock the shelves with, though I was in love with the click drag at first I would love to be able to control the specific books stocked to make a good variety pack.
Absolutely obsessed with this fun and simple game. I love making recommendations on real life books to the characters and helping to solve cute cases around town. This game hits everything I would love to do but know it wouldn't work out as well in reality. Perfect game. No notes!

I like that the game is pretty easy to pick up but has a certain amount of strategy. It's a casual game that will make hours pass by before you know it. It's fun, sweet, and more addicting than I anticipated. :)
Really like the progressing goals and the ability to ramp up my store with buffs given by decorations. Nice and chill game, well designed.

Beautiful artwork, lovely music, and a sweet story. You meet several unique characters with rather real and relatable stories, and connecting with them is a lovely reward on its own. Also, cute pets! You can fully customize your shop and the decorations are all creative and pretty. They give you bonuses, so it's always fun to redecorate for each specific place you'll be setting up shop for the day, or according to occasion. Each day has a different event going on, with some special moments sprinkled in between, so you always have incentive to not just camp the same spot for consecutive days. While it definitely fits the cozy category, I'm glad this is not a sit-and-watch-it game. You have to jump in and help people with their requests for some bonuses, and you definitely need to manage your stock a bit - again, each day and location is different, attracts a different crowd, and thus makes you sell different book genres (the selection of books is great!). Overall it's a sweet balance of relaxing, "challenging" and fun. Good to sink time but also just play a little bit to unwind.
