Мужики, спасайте, если наберём 10 лайков и 5 наград, то жена подарит ящик пива
short point & click, quite easy puzzles, lots of jokes, and pretty pixel graphics - overall a cool game to chill with :)) and in the end they get to eat cookies ;))

"Tina & Rook! Cookie Quest!" is a short 2D retro pixel point and click puzzle/adventure game with a mundane premise about two gamers who want biscuits. It does seem to be genuinely made, and I couldn't see any flipped assets or anything. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. I don't know who they were designing this for, but the resolution caps out at 720p, and that's just scaling up the pixelcrap assets. Controls are locked and can't be changed either... it's below minimum standards just on the barebones technical stuff. PC gamers expect better. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
not great
even with the rough translation at times, i really enjoyed this. i will forever be a sucker for the character dynamic: sunshine x sunshine protector / light x dark. puzzles were fun n made me think a little bit, but never were nonsensical or rage-inducing. pretty humorous dialogue too. for less than an hr of playtime n being free, i'd say definitely give this a try :)
é um jogo bem curtinho mas é muito divertido, eu amo o estilo de arte disso também. é curto mas feito com carinho<3
Tina & Rook! Cookie Quest! is a short point&click game about breaking and entering. Snagged a snack in a little over 30 minutes using a mouse, then went back to get that one achievement I missed for 45 minutes game-play total. Difficulty is easy-medium. The characters are funny, the music is cute, and the way to go about solving the puzzles is creative. Glad I found this tiny gem while browsing the Steam freebie barrel. Would play more like it. Developer, don't let me down. Fill more of your portfolio! This is an all around fun game.
