this does not work with Godot 4 only works with Godot 3. documentation on their site does not mention this.
Used this software a long time ago but the development seems to be on hold which is a shame. This tool used to be a good time saver but the software does not support the new godot 4 tileset format and auto tiling features. I'd have hoped that this tool would be updated to support is but it seems nothing is being done anymore.

I really want to like this software but it's generally pretty buggy and it hasn't been updated since 2021. It's almost really good at what it does, but really just needs more polish and support for newer engine versions like godot 4. Edit as of 8/3/25: This now crashes on linux and requires the "--disable-gpu --disable-gpu-sandbox param" in order to launch.

As an indi game maker, with limited artistic skill, this has really helped me, and has already saved me loads on tile sets. Yes the Godot export only works in 3. But I can export a PNG and use that 11/10. Would recommend
