Honestly compared to some of the other tidy up games, this isn't something i would happily recommend to other people. It has a few negative aspects going for it and i will just say that i can't really say which is the strongest point but they equal each other: Shelves and things where objects are placed are all inequal. Say you have swords to place somewhere and you may have 12 sets of swords but you only get shelves in wracks of 8. But you also get 4 sets of 8 wracks for weapons. When i first started, i thought it'd be nice like the other games and be swords go here, staves go in another, maces go in another, but then i found bows, daggers, axes and .. no. There isn't enough room for a nice sorting at all. NOT AT ALL. Everything becomes a hodgepodge mix and match. The same happens with the pastries which includes cheesecake?? Then there is the fact that you can complete a level ONLY leveling up the inventory expansion skill yet it turns out when you complete a level it goes.. POOF You used powers on this level because that was in fact a POWER. Like.. You expect me to complete the whole level walking here there and everywhere carrying a measily 5 items constantly throughout the whole process? WHICH brings me to the next point: The inventory only ever expands to something like 8 or 9 items. It's pathetic when you're sorting 4k or 9k items. It's a way to pad the process to make the game seem longer and take longer to solve when it is failing in the most basic GAME of being entertaining which again next point: A lot of the items are fluff. Padding. Books. Some of the books require 24 of each item and there are LOTS of books. Then you have lots of vegetables. Lots of fruit. Lots of pastries. Lots of .. FLUFF. It seems ok to start with but when trying to do the actual sorting, there are HUGE items, then insanely tiny items and half the time i spend the time playing the game i'm squinting trying to see what i'm actually looking at because there is no collision in the game and whilst this is a blessing, it's also a curse. Once an object is picked up, nothing sort of falls to the floor with physics. The other objects just float around in midair and some of the objects look very flat and it's hard to see what they are unless looked at from certain angles. Again. It just lacks in the basic of being a game. ENTERTAINMENT. Therefore. No. I wouldn't recommend it and this is coming from someone who genuinely enjoys these tidy up games and could happily spend hours playing these. This one bores me to tears and i've tried repeatedly to play this over and over and i just cannot stay entertained.
I wanted to like this game so much. And the game itself is worth the price point if you're playing PC. But it's definitely not Steam Deck ready in my opinion. The camera movement is so janky that I had trouble just finishing the first store. When I moved the camera around, it was as if there were invisible little boxes for the camera to look at. Instead of moving in a sweeping motion like your head does girl, it was like the camera would snap to these invisible boxes. I would try to pick up a shirt, for example, move to hover right over it, but wouldn't be able to point my focus directly onto it. Moving even the tiniest of increments on the joystick, I would either look too high, too low, or wouldn't move at all. That's including my settings on the highest sensitivity. Which, that would just make me look too high or too low really fast, but didn't make any adjustments to the ability to nudge the camera movements in smaller increments. My standards are not high by any means. But this was too big of a headache for me to overcome and keep playing.
this is a slipshod game. even the achievement names are slipshod. one says wrymiling shop, other one says wrylimg store. ret of the game is just the same. when I saw the leviathan shop after finishing other 2, I felt scammed. dragon store was already bad for such genre with those unmatching shelves but gameplay was kinda ok. but leviathan is just a joke. if you did not add that level the game would be better and more respectful to its players. but this... idk what to say. I feel bad.
Been obsessed with Tidy Up games for a little while now, and this offers something I have not seen yet - multiplayer and cartoony art style! Great game that offers different levels which is great! Customising our characters is also an added plus.
First and second level are very nice. It was fun to sort the stuff, and in the second level there were many new items. But then the third level ... not a single new item. I was pretty disappointed. They just scaled up the amount of items and that's it. Repetitive and boring, when there is nothing new to discover. What a lazy way to make a third level. I instantly lost motivation to play this and will refund the game.
I really enjoyed playing it. It was bug free from start to finish. Highly recommended. You can check out the gameplay below; https://youtu.be/UCHRQj5-t2s
Pretty satisfying! Would love another powerup, like sort your hand, would be awesome!
I was excited to try the leviathan store (the largest) as others like it vary on the items as you get to bigger areas only to find that it's just repeats of the same assets. Ill have to pass on that area until I can convince myself that it doesn't actually need to be organized.
