The game is good. I really loved playing it and watching all the dialogues, taking my time to think about each decision. It's a nice way to explore the world of the Witcher and play Gwent if you like... even more so now that Gwent's active development has wound down. Once I found out there was an idea to make a series of games, each exploring different characters and showing the lore of the Witcher in a different way, I was very excited, but unfortunately the project was cancelled. The reason: Thronebreaker didn't meet expectations. Despite the good reviews, not enough people played or bought the game to justify a second one. The only two negative points of the game? I'd say it's the lack of things to do with gold and wood. By halfway through chapter 4, I already had my tent maxed out and all the cards i needed on my deck, and by the end of chapter 5 I had so much gold and wood that it would've been nice if it could've been used for something else, like more things to level up. The second negative point is that the game also gets a little repetitive around chapter 3, unfortunately but it's still a good, smooth game and it carries nicely through to the end.

Great game, just as good storytelling as the witcher games, towards the end it did drag a bit and was a bit disappointed that you only get to use one factions deck the entire game.
If you like Gwent multiplayer, this is really good

I’d recommend this game to fans of The Witcher franchise and narrative-driven games. The storytelling, voice acting and moral dilemmas throughout the story are clearly the game’s strong points. However, the gameplay mechanics become repetitive after thirty hours of play due to a lack of builds and factions variety. The puzzles are still a nice touch to break up this monotony. I played exclusively on the OLED Steam Deck and it was a real pleasure. Meve is Rhena.

Honestly, I like the game. Its fun and the story is good for the most. At least so far. The problem I have is with the decisions part. They don't tell you what is a good choice and evil choice till after the fact which would be fine if the person who assigned the good or evil label to a choice wasn't stupid... I swear the person who assigned them hates smart people, because every time you pick the smart decision you're told it was the evil choice. So the moral of the story is that you should be a ret@rd and never use your brain for social situations or else you're evil. Is that it? Is that the lesson?
