Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

普通の人間視点でウィッチャー世界を体験できる外伝。 ウィッチャーとしてプレイしてると忘れがちな怪物の怖さを、視点を変えることで教えてくれたのが新鮮だった。 同時に、ウィッチャーという存在が一般人にとってどれだけ頼りになる存在か（色々悪くも言われるが）を知ることもできる一作。 これをプレイすると、また３がやりたくなる。

i dont really like card games so i mainly just wanna push through the story.. but the story is not really engaging at all and feels generic so it gets boring very fast running from place to place just to hear some text which adds nothing

I got it on special, it was not what I expected. In the time I played it Geralt did not appear and the Witchers didn’t seem to be a part of the story. The card battle parts were quite limited and partly on rails. Maybe if i give it more time it would further develop, But for me I didn’t find it interesting. I personally don’t recommend it but at the same time I don’t feel it deserves a flat do not recommend.

Thronebreaker is a hidden gem. I bought it on a whim because I love The Witcher universe and Gwent. I finished the game in 48 hours total playtime because I enjoyed the story progression and game mechanics. There are some frustrating puzzles that you can skip. Overall a great game and I highly recommend it.

A fantastic game and an absolute must play for any Witcher fan! I adore Meve as the protagonist, she is such a joy to play as! The game would be a 10/10 experience for me if it weren't for 3 things: 1. Missable items and therefore achievements - it was chests and Meve's weapons for me. Some people also report issues with spy master letters. All items must be collected ON ONE PLAYTHROUGH. Some of these items are also a reward for making an objectively bad choice. I'd like to also add that this game doesn't have a high replay value, so it's a really weird design choice on CDPR's side. 2. Terrible save system. You can go back to the chapter you have completed, but it will override the campaign progress. So, if you missed something in Chapter 2 and went back to it, you'll need to replay the game from there. 3. Too many puzzle battles that force you to use a custom deck - what's the point of building your own? Adding to that, the final battle is absolute bullcr*p, the difficulty spike is insane! And again, it forces you to use a very specific setup to win.

一开始对卡牌理解不足，感觉不能每回合攻击的玩法远不如巫师3里的昆特牌好玩，随着对游戏的理解加深，确实还是更有深度的本作昆特牌更有趣些。故事不错，中文本地化更是好得令人发指～配音舒服自然，甚至连通关后的职员表也做了汉化，简直丧心病狂！[强][强][强]

To wyczyn sprawić by ktoś nienawidzący karcianek tak się w tę grę wkręcił! Wojna Krwi to świetnie zrobiona karcianka, ale również wyśmienite słuchowisko. Oprócz tego mamy śliczny styl graficzny i piękną muzykę, no ale co najważniejsze - ta fabuła! Bardzo ładnie wplata się w historię z sagi, a przy tym robi swoje dodając do wiedźmińskiego świata wiele cudownie napisanych postaci, nie pomijając tych stworzonych już przez Sapka. Meve to absolutnie królowa nr1, kocham Raynarda, który zrobiłby dla niej wszystko i Gascona, który jako jedyny nie ma kija w rzyci i jest w stanie doprowadzić pozostałą dwójkę do parteru, nawet jeśli Raynarda to wkvrwia xd (the girls are fightinggg). Szkoda jedynie, że nie da rady tworzyć osobnych zapisów, szczególnie, że dokonujemy w grze wiele ważnych wyborów. No i te karciane zagadki.. Niektóre były przyjemne i zabawne, ale większość albo zrobisz idealnie albo czeka cię wkvrw non stop.

a great use of 'Gwent' to tell an interesting story set in the Witcher universe - I particularly enjoyed getting to explore parts of the world map that have not been shown in previous CDPR Witcher games. The art direction, soundtrack and story are on point.
