Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I just wanted to fool around with the silly card game I quite enjoyed in the Witcher 3, but 9/10 card events in this game are set up as puzzles, with fixed enemies, fixed card selections, and anal special rules that give you one singular solution for getting through any of it. Zero replay value, absolutely not what I wanted or expected.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Excelente (5/5) História completamente insana, personagens maravilhosos e uma excelente gameplay.
Gwent, an side activity in the Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, easy to learn and fun to play, while taking break from the main story. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, a standalone multiplayer game, which eventually couldn't compete with the current TCG online game market and active development was eventually dropped. Although rumors tell there being still active player base, but the glory days are long gone. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, a single player adventure released together with multiplayer version, offering in-game rewards for multiplayer game for making through tough choices and willing to find all of the hidden chests. Tried my best to collect all chests, completing all puzzle and side story missions. This proofed to be quite hard, as you'll have to make choices and which will have consequences even if you thought it was the best solution available. As some wise man said: What goes around comes around. Players are forced to adapt and customize their decks even with the Battle-Hardened difficulty (Normal). Had to take some notes of my followers and their ideologies, to not overstep between them. Finished the game with the Steam Deck, only having difficulty when modifying the deck list while the D-pad makes sometimes an "hop" action to different brackets, forcing me to tap more gently the D-pad to move around. Using touchscreen will probably fix the issue if needed. Additionally cannot type in the game, so no easy way to sort by name the cards from list.
Final score: 9/10
Absolute cinema! This has to be the most underrated game by CDPR
El mejor jueog de The Witcher despues de The Witcher 3.
very good take on the gwent card game, story is good, art is great.
I enjoyed the first half. By the end, I was begging for it to be over. Let's start with the balancing. It's awful. The game is way too easy, so I put it on the highest difficulty... which was still too easy. My journey was more a test of patience than anything else. Why does my character walk so slow? Why do I have to hold down a button to pick up resources? Why does it take 10 seconds to load into a battle? Why does the AI need 20 to think out it's next move (playing its only card)? Speaking of which, what did they do to Gwent? They struck a weird balance (no surprise there) between simplifying and complicating the core game to the point where it feels like a knockoff of its own IP. Secondly, the economy. Oh my god. It was 10 hours in that I learned the hardest difficulty severely limits your resources. By the 15 hour mark, I was getting a little concerned--unable to afford new upgrades and units, I was still using my peasants from the first hour of the game. They're overpowered, by the way, so these resource restrictions didn't make the game any harder, they just meant I couldn't experiment with my deck. At the 20 hour mark, desperate to finish the game, I changed the difficulty to easy mode, which let me skip battles and restored the standard resource economy. Turns out, you get 10x more gold on the normal difficulty. I made more progress in the next 15 minutes than I did in the 20 hours beforehand. I could finally upgrade my camp, unlock new cards! But I was so checked out by this point, and further frustrated by the fantasy of the campaign I *could've* had, that it made no difference. And on that note, if I had set the difficulty lower from the outset, I would have maxed out all upgrades in the first few areas, and been subsequently bored for the rest, fighting way too easy opponents with way too powerful cards. The balancing--card and economy--truly ruins the entire game. Lastly, I read a review that said Meve, the protagonist, is CDPR's best-written female character. I completely disagree. She is so overwhelmingly corny past the first three hours, so overwrought in her endless motivational speeches--how could any soldier take her seriously? The story is quite serious in comparison, which further exacerbates the cringe. The message behind this whole tired review is that this game just goes on for too long. This game should be 12, 15 hours max. It just isn't built to go on any longer. I can't imagine what it would've been like to play through the last two areas fully without skipping battles. I don't want to.
Thronebreaker is the kind of game that deserves more attention and praise. I got it mostly because i'm a fan of gwent and cards games like that. Card games done right i mean. This is more than just a card game though, there's whole RPG element built around it. Not as huge as the actual witcher games of course, but with a lot of attention to detail. All the dialogue is voiced first of all, throughout the adventure that is accompanied by fine music as well. The fights and the mechanics i enjoyed a lot, plus the story. The only bad thing i can say about it really is that plenty of the puzzles were annoyingly hard to figure out and i had to resort to guides. Besides that i really enjoyed the whole experience here. Obviously a lot of work was put into it and they should be proud of the result. It's more than i expected or bargained for. So, if you're a fan of the witcher series or gwent, or especially both, i'd easily recommend this game. You won't be disappointed.
