About
You are there... alone in a black empty void known as space inside your spaceship... it feels so empty... it feels so calm... but what the heck?
Suddenly a rather annoying alarm in your spaceship starts to emmit a blasting sound and red lights. You put on your fish bowl space helmet and gaze through the main cargo door and in a gasp of horror... oh no!... you are surrounded by missiles that are coming straight at you!
You try to perform evasive actions to avoid all of them. It seems you are a very clumsy astronaut that activated the defence system of a nearby planet, they think you are their enemy! How long would you be able to survive?
It seems to me that... this will not go well...
The goal of this game is simple. You are the spaceship. You have to avoid missiles and make then collide against each other to win points. The more points you make, the better.
A white circle surrounds the spaceship. It indicates the 'Danger zone'. If a hazard is within the 'Danger zone', time is slowed down until there are no hazards inside it.
To be honest I wasn't really expecting much from this little retro arcade time waster but it pleasantly surprised me and I had a lot of fun with it.
Watching the store page videos will give you a good idea of the game play. It is basically avoiding missiles as you fly around an enclosed grid with each coloured missile having different attributes, like faster speed and maneuverability. As a missile enters your perimeter, time slows down giving you a bit more thinking time to avoid any obstacles and plan moves so that missiles collide into each other. It's actually very satisfying when you pull off a clever move so that missiles explode and the nature of the game means there will be lots of near misses and death defying moves that feels quite exciting at times. As you progress, the amount of missiles increases and more advanced missiles appear with better intelligence to hunt you down. It becomes quite frantic at times and you don't get much time to react, even when time does slow down. The game feels quite basic at the moment, with no menu to adjust sound or picture and not even a menu route to exit the game. You will need to press escape which sends you straight back to Steam. This will not go well performs well in the game play area though but I can't help feeling that its next evolution will be upgrades to your ship which improves speed, movement, and perhaps even shields and the occasional emergency bomb etc. As it stands I suspect that it will be hunting the achievements that will keep your interest, which there are plenty of, but some are a bit laborious and probably not achievable. Some leader boards and a high score table would also prolong the life of the game.
🍳Conclusion🍳

This will not go well is a basic game but it's a great time waster when you only have a few minutes to play. Each run only lasts about five minutes or so but the game is quite addictive, especially if you enjoy hunting achievements or chasing your high score. There are probably some obvious ways of evolving the game but as it stands the price is very reasonable for its content and the amount of time you're likely to play the game, so go give it a try. It's a good timewaster. One dollar, super cheap.
