Third Crisis: Neon Nights

played for 20 minutes, art style and setting were really cool. then the game dropped a gay sex scene on me, dude balls deep in another dude. i uninstalled and refunded.

a little fast paced, but many scenes are optional- really like the minigame changes between demo and early release. personally i am in the lgbtq+ community and really love all the queer content, as tbh most games are very male-gaze centered and this hits the female gaze really nicely

So... Smut games, right? Can't really say I expected all that much out of the genre's listings on Steam, but finding this one during the Summer Sale was kind of like chancing across a diamond in the rough. The thumbnail visuals immediately caught my eye, and seeing as it was less than full price and I haven't really purchased any games like this for myself in the past, I decided to give it a shot. Wow. Okay, so like, Zoey. Omigoodness is she ever CUTE. Her VA is absolutely stellar, and the character design itself is peak, too. Her personality, the attitude she displays, how she tackles the adversity of her circumstances? Love it all. Her best friend Sarah? Super duper adorable. Do I want them to kiss? Yes, totally, 100%. Might want to see Nova get in the mix there too, but that's something for the future - I hope. Worldbuilding is engaging and interesting. I find myself thinking about whatever the First and Second Crises were, as well as wanting to learn much more about the origin and consequences of the Third Crisis. I'm not even sure what that was at this point, but the fact that I actually WANT to know more says a lot, in my opinion. I like Neon City's aesthetic, and as someone who spent many long hours in the past playing text-based browser games like Corruption of Champions and Trials in Tainted Space, I adore the casual eroticism of this game's world. It's depraved and illicit, and that's just the way I like it. The biggest prude is Zoey herself, and you can tell that it doesn't come from a place of hate, loathing, or prudish moral principles; she has trauma, and it lingers with her in the present. Music is on point. Perfectly moody and oppressive where it needs to be, delightfully upbeat and clubby where appropriate. I could vibe to this soundtrack IRL, though I might be concerned about sharing where it's from if a friend asked and wasn't the right audience for the source. Gameplay mechanics are casual yet enjoyable. There's no combat, which I appreciate. I enjoy having the flexibility of choosing when and with whom to engage in an erotic scene, whereas the introduction of combat would likely mean that choice would be taken away from me. I'm a lesbian, so I don't really vibe with subjecting Zoey to the majority of male sex scenes. I'm far more content to let her get it on with other ladies like herself, and this game leaves that decision to me - which is something I respect and am grateful for. I really hope there's a lot more women-on-women scenes in the future - please let there be baddies who will give Zoey the strap. Lord, I've seen what you've done for others, and I want that for Zoey. Great game. Very Early-Access, but it absolutely deserves a full release - kind of like a certain blue-haired merc who's really trying desperately to hold back. If you're at all comfortable with degeneracy, I wholly recommend Third Crisis: Neon Nights.

Após cerca de 2 horas de jogo posso dizer que não é apenas um jogo adulto "tradicional" onde você busca as cenas eróticas sem qualquer capricho: é um jogo onde as cenas adultas estão inseridas na trama de forma bem construída e bem pensada! Há personalidade em cada personagem, ajudando na ambientação. Meu único senão é a demora em carregar os ambientes, mas considerando que o jogo está em acesso antecipado isso não é algo que estrague a experiência.

Definitely in 'early access' (not too long at the moment) but what IS here is 10 out of 10 quality and a preview of what's to come. There's more of a detective angle on this game, it seems. Lock picking, hacking, looking for door codes & clues. I like it! The voice acting is great, the animations (which seem to be everywhere) are smooth, the art style is wonderful... this is going to be a great game someday. I do wonder if this game will have any combat at all. I suppose it would be fine w/o it if they manage to fill that with other content (which so far I think they have, when your character showers you get to soap her up and rinse her off). However, also having some kind of combat would add one more layer of variety (personally I hope they're 'sex battles' where 'attacks' are pleasure themed and the goal is to cause exhaustion through orgasms). Also, the world building seems strong (much stronger than the 1st game), there's life almost everywhere, people having snusnu out in the open, walking their (human) dogs, people having conversations with each other as you pass by (in text). I hope this trend continues as well, as well as the exploration that is encouraged by pin-up artwork that can be found in various corners of the maps. This game also has real-time bewb physics! As you move around your character's hair, clothes, and bewbs flow, move, and bounce around. It's cute and is fun to look at. Lastly, the game can be played comfortably with your mouse alone, but you can also use keyboard and controllers if you prefer.

It's a good game, but as a sexual content game it doesn't really meet the objectives of those kind of games. There are sex scenes to goon too, but they are spread out way too far and there is too much actual gaming required. Point is, this is a game first and foremost, so if you just want a game to play and enjoy you can get it, but there is nothing here to turn you on. Wasn't for me.

Foda-se, gostei do jogo. Só o fato de você poder lutar contra a depravação já foi suficiente para me conquistar. Em um mundo onde a sexualização parece estar em todo lugar, achei muito interessante um jogo que permite seguir outro caminho e simplesmente escolher não participar disso. A única coisa que realmente não gostei foi a forma como os colecionáveis aparecem na tela. Acho que deveria existir uma opção para desativar isso e receber apenas uma mensagem avisando que novas imagens foram desbloqueadas na galeria. Para ser sincero, eu estava pouco me importando com essas imagens, então preferia descobrir os colecionáveis de forma mais natural. Acabei comprando o jogo porque um amigo comentou que existia um jogo adulto em que você podia tentar se manter "limpo". Achei a ideia tão diferente que não acreditei e resolvi comprar para ver como era. No fim, foi uma surpresa positiva. Se a proposta te interessar, acho que vale a pena dar uma chance.

It must be clear that, at the moment of this review(07/2026), it is still an early access and it shows, not in quality but in content, it took me around 7h to finish almost everything you can do; given the price and what it can deliver in the future, I think it´s worth it, yet, you should be aware of what you are gettin for your money. After having completed Third Crisis, i was expecting more of the same, which it kinda is, but also is a next level, the artstyle is delightful, the voice acting is very fitting and a great addition and the plot, without being something tha will change your life, seems a lot more interesting than the original Third Crisis, so, at least you have something to think while there isnt a sexual scene going on.
