Brick-breaker action + unique - too much flashing/shaking = Fight against the Blokolonian waves by shooting balls and bouncing them. Balls that falls off decreases your health, so keep them bouncing. Don't let my play time fool you, I've been playtestting this bad boy for a while! So. Things that Bounce and Explode. This is a game about controlled chaos. You are empowered to make incredible plays ant attacks. However, you also must deal with the responsibility of what you are wrecking on the world. Its a dance between putting up enough offense to destroy the Block menace as well not letting your own firepower hurt the planet you are supposed to protect. That said, it is a comfy 'chaos' game. Perfect to fiddle around as you listen to podcasts and the like. Highly recommend it if anything I just said made you interest in this new school of arcade games.
An amazing game for that moment you just want a quick fun, but it also offers rewards for dedicated runs. With simple mechanics, things can get pretty intense as they mix. Lots of achievements for those who crave them. I missed collectible cards, maybe they will be available later? Gameplay-wise and screen-wise, this game seems suitable for a mobile release. You can setup your gamepad in the Options menu, although playing with the mouse is the standard way and fits pretty well the intended playstyle.
Lembra do Arkanoid? TTBE - Things that bounce and explode é um jogo no estilo Brick Breaker, misturado com shoot'em up e com diversidade de builds e habilidades, para fãs de Arkanoid clássico é um prato cheio. Confira uma espiadinha no jogo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k55oRnGlE-0&t=531s
Things That Bounce and Explode is a fun twist on brick-breakers in which you create your own balls and have to juggle them between moving enemies in order to destroy them. What makes it good is that it's not just a fun twist, it's a whole game with frantic action, arcade-y progression systems and really innovative ideas. Some levels might task you with avoiding spiky walls, while some others will add some obstacles such as flippers. It's nothing too crazy, but when you get in the middle of the action, juggling more than five balls while trying to active special abilities and avoiding enemies, Things That Bounce and Explode can be pretty fun. It's a new, creative twist on a genre that's too rigid for its own good and sometimes, it's exactly the kind of niche game that you need. I absolutely recommend buying it and giving it a try! If you're a fan of arcade shooters and looking for a new experience, check out @LNDFRR's Things that Bounce and Explode. Every time I thought the game had peaked, something new would unlock. Good times. A solid addition to the arcade shooter genre featuring innovations on oldschool pong mechanics and upgrades galore. At first glance it may not look like much but there's a lot going on under the hood. For more niche curation, follow me at: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/27440015-CSH-Picone/
I like things that bounce. And I like things that explode. One would think I would like this game.... and one would be right! It's wacky, fun, quirky and full of balls! I really dig the music and the nonsensical overwhelming quantities of balls, it was a pretty ballsy move to make this game, and it paid off!
Your hubris is your worse enemy here. Juggle as much as you can, don't play safe. BE A BALLER.
