Really cool game with a neat hook. Hope to see more from this dev in the future.
vedi good : )
Great, but kinda short, i finished the game in a little bit over an hour.
Very short but it's a fun game to play in an afternoon.
Theyest Thou? More like "Fudge this Ship" The last parts hurt my eyes so much that I had to close it. Couldn't you put a checkpoint so when Godot crashes I didn't have to start the level from beginning? Some parts are unnecessarly hard and repetitive. Cool mechanics, fun gameplay, unique approach, I liked it, it could be a better game. It's not easy to play, especially the last parts. I couldn't finish it. Still, at least you should try and support our fav youtuber. I'll see you around.
While this game is quite fun and feels pretty good to play until the end with an interesting gimmick and a cool art style. The final hoverboat level is straight up awful and kind of left a bad taste in my mouth once I reached the end. It is just hard to control and way too cheap with it's enemy placement and hazards. But apart from that one hiccup, Theyest Thou is still a pretty fun top down shooter.
TLDR; The game is flawed but good Theyest thou is an interesting game for me. I feel as though I should dislike it because the game can get frustrating at times to me at least but the core game play kept drawing me back, not to mention that the game has an interesting art style, though this compliment is kinda balanced by the fact that a majority of the game takes place in white corridors and areas. What i'm trying to say here is that while it has flaws, I enjoyed Theyest thou.
It was a good game over all. The ideas are interesting and levels are fun. Now, to be careful not to give spoilers. There is one part that just HORRIFIC. So bad! Hard to control. Hard to see the things you need to see to finish the level. I will try to complete it so I can see what happens after.
This game is technically a cash grab, but not in the same sense as you think it is. It was made in a month in order to fund Miziziziz's main game Thouest Thee or Wrought Fless (The name is...n't decided); however, Theyest Thou still feels polished and really fun to play. One can tell that there was a lot of love that went into crafting a smooth telekinesis system, and levels that are challenging but fair. Overall, I recommend this to anyone with a buck to spare and wanting some quality entertainment.
90 minutes play Was fun until last boss bugged out completely
