They See Us

With all due respect, They See Us is getting a big thumbs up from me. I haven’t really played any anomaly or horror games before, so this is one of the first “horror” experiences I’ve had. While I get that it isn’t full-on horror and relies more on a few jumpscares, I still really enjoyed it. It took me around two hours to get through all the stages, but that’s mostly because my friends and I are a bunch of goons who don’t always notice everything right away. Even so, the experience was fun, engaging, and definitely worth the time. As I’m writing this, the game hasn’t even been out for a month yet, so of course there are still some rough edges. But honestly, I can only see it improving with time. The foundation is solid, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the developers take it from here. Overall: a solid start, fun with friends, and promising for the future.

Как и многие инди-проекты в Steam, в последнее время стало появляться много ужастиков, которые используют одни и те же идеи: будь то выживач в тёмном комплексе с монстрами, поиск аномалий и прочие активности, но главное - обязательно добавить кооператив. У некоторых игр получается сделать нечто уникальное, и у них появляется верная база игроков, а у многих других онлайн умирает через пару дней. Вот здесь как раз второй случай. Весь геймплей - это забеги в комнату, поиск аномалий и финальный отчёт о том, сколько именно их было на карте. Если ошибётесь - гейм овер. Естественно, комната не маленькая, и бегать с друзьями, искать отличия, получать скейры и порой прятаться от нестрашных врагов может быть весело, но ничего нового и уникального для жанра тут нет. Нет ачивок, нет прогрессии. Никто не создаёт серваки, поэтому найти кого-то нереально, а в соло тут просто скучно. Если же у вас есть дружбаны, которым подобное нравится, - то по скидке можно взять, когда игра будет продаваться за копейки, и немного побегать. Но я уверяю: вам быстро это надоест. For the price point, it's worth it. It's really short though. I wouldn't say replayability is there until they add new maps. I think I completed all the levels in less than an hour with my friends and we just sat there like, "Uhm... that was fun... but let's play something else now". So, if that's the type of game you're looking for, then get it. It was fun while we played, but it's no, hours long friend slop, if that's what you're needing/wanting.

Having so much fun with this. It's terrifying but so much fun with friends! Also... dog-petting. AMAZING!

this was a really fun little game. It was interesting to keep seeing new anomalies. For the price, excellent! very fun, have played over and over and with friends. But, I wish there were more maps!

Actually, the worst game I have ever played. The fact that this game costs money is honestly insulting. 1 map, 10 "creepy" things that spawn in the same place every time and do nothing, and gameplay that consists of the revolutionary idea of counting from 1 to 6. For free, this game would be a fun in-and-out ride; for money, you could literally buy anything else.
