There's no Socks

I didn't like the colors the socks turn into after you clicked it: light colours next to white. Probably my screen but I was hoping the standard game has the colour option. unfortunately didn't work for me. This colour got me annoyed caus I couldnt see properly if I already found it. Repeated the maps for some achievements but only got more annoyed. Did like when retry the socks are somewhere else which makes it more worth trying same map again. free game but dont want to try this series of puzzles.

I wish they would put a third option in ratings. I am actually on the fence and keep going back and forth to recommend or not. First off, it is a hidden picture puzzle with around 9 levels. To get all the achievements minus the 1000 socks achievement, you have to play each level three times to get all the socks as the placement of the socks change. Overall, that is a cool idea but..One needs to be in hard mode. That mode is what I would call frustrating to the point that the developer lost insight on why people purchase games. Games are meant to be enjoyed, relax, have fun or overall entertain. In that as my guide to games, challenging is great at times but overall I play these hidden picture games to relax and unwind. Causing frustration is at no time the objective of a game. My play time is longer than usual because I did walk away for periods of time with the hard mode. With the hard mode, you actually cannot see the game except a small area around the cursor. If you started on hard mode like I did, I'm not only surprised I finished but also disappointed that I bought around 4 or their games in a bundle. The maker has to remember that we play these types of games for the love of the games and not achievements because they do not count which is very typical of Steam for this category of games.

I'm a huge fan of hidden objects games, but I just didn't enjoy this one. First of all, I'm thankful that most of these games are free, so I get that the devs wanted to earn some money, but locking more the half of the achievements behind a paywall makes me want to NOT purchase it. Aside from that, the game just isn't engaging, there's around 20 items hidden per level, and then you have to restart the level a few more times to find the rest. I would've preferred one, bigger picture with 60 items rather than three of the same picture with slight variations. Also, for some reason, instead of making me feel relaxed, this game specifically frustrates me, so I really wouldn't recommend it.

Решение головоломок основано на взаимодействии с окружением и довольно логично, хотя иногда и требует нестандартного мышления, что, впрочем, только добавляет игре шарма. Юмор – один из главных козырей 'There's no Socks'. Диалоги, ситуации, даже сами персонажи – все пропитано иронией и самоиронией. Это игра, которая не боится быть глупой и смешной, и в этом ее прелесть. В целом, 'There's no Socks' – это отличный способ провести вечер, расслабиться и посмеяться. Короткая, но яркая и запоминающаяся игра, оставляющая после себя приятное послевкусие. Рекомендую всем любителям адвенчур и просто тем, кто ищет что-то необычное и веселое.
