This is one of the better indie Unity games I have played. It was pretty fun and the concept was unique. I had a little issue with not being able to exit reading a few of the notes, but I was able to eventually get past them. Here's a video I made of a play through of the first stage I also gave some more thoughts on the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otI9KXGyi98
The voice acting is a little rough in places, but overall it's a fun way to eat up a few hours of your time. The Unity engine is reminiscent of a lot of mobile horror games I used to play 5 or 6 years ago, and that was pretty nostalgic for me. Either way, it seems like the dev is relatively new to game development and if that's the case they've got a great start.

Back then I had to pay for this game and even though it was cheap I don't think that was worth it. The game consists of 5 levels where you mostly just walk in a straight line where barely something happens. Especially level 5 is awful, because it's so long and boring. Now the game is free, so maybe try it. Still don't think it's worth it.
Pretty good game. There weren't any scares really but the story and the way it is told is so interesting that it keeps you playing till the end. For the price I would for sure recommend you check it out. If you want to see some game play you can check out my video below. https://youtu.be/BBhHxTgZRws
So...you can't move when you see the light and hear the train whistle in the tunnel, or the werewolf coming at you. Literally, no controls work. Prior to that, you're picking up notes talking about alchemy and transmutation, while walking down a seemingly endless train track. That's it. What a disappointment.

The Wolf’s Den is a short and atmospheric first-person adventure that offers a unique blend of narrative-driven exploration and light puzzle-solving. While the gameplay is simple—mostly walking through a linear path—the eerie atmosphere and unfolding story keep you engaged. The story, told through voiceovers and scattered notes, revolves around alchemy and werewolves, adding an intriguing fantasy element. The game encourages multiple playthroughs, especially for achievement hunters, as finding all collectibles requires revisiting levels. On the downside, the gameplay loop can feel repetitive, particularly in the later levels where not much happens. The final level is notably long and somewhat dull, which could have been improved with pacing adjustments or added mechanics. The voice acting is a bit rough at times, but it doesn’t detract too much from the overall experience. Originally a paid game, The Wolf’s Den is now free, making it easier to recommend. If you’re looking for a short, story-driven indie game with a nostalgic Unity feel, it’s worth a try—just don’t expect deep mechanics or intense horror. A decent, quick experience for narrative-focused players and achievement hunters, but the linear gameplay and lack of scares might not appeal to everyone. Length <30mins A short narrative game that feels like the ‘PT’ repeating hallways gameplay in a mine, combined with a fantasy story about Werewolves. In the most basic sense the story is of an alchemist and the event of his friend turning into a werewolf through alchemy. The story is told out through the tunnel through voice over notes. The story overall is interesting and you will be using potions to escape from the werewolves that hunt you. Loops are simple to explore the tunnel for items, or your workshop. Then get to the end of the tunnel to trigger the next loop. Stop for notes on the way to learn more of the story then rinse and repeat. A few variations to each loop, but nothing drastic. Honestly very loosely a game and more of a narrative with a looping set piece. For the price it can be worth the try. In my opinion I just really hate any looping ‘PT’ mechanics. It is a common feature in horror games and I really find it boring, especially after playing so many of them.
