About
WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE POWER?
🔵Play God!
Guide your fledgling sentient species (lovingly called “nuggets”) from Stone Age cave painters to star-faring explorers.
Command more than 15 godly powers to guide, protect — or discipline — your followers. Create devastating tornadoes, smite naughty followers with lightning bolts, or shake and sunder the very earth.
Observe Nuggets' every move as they work and fight to survive.
Research more than 200 technological and societal advancements.
Discover and colonize a galaxy of procedurally generated planets, each with unique ecosystems and challenges to conquer.
Manage the delicate balance of planetary ecosystems to help nuggets thrive. Your decisions and your followers’ ' actions influence global climates and have real environmental consequences. (Try not to kill them in an ecological disaster — well, unless you want to, of course.)
Unravel the layers of a deeper cosmic story that challenges your perception of who and what you are — and reveals unexpected twists!
The Universim is a strategy city builder game with “God” elements where you guide a civilization (Nuggets) from the Stone Age to the Space Age. Manage resources, dynamic challenges, and ensure your Nuggets can survive, thrive, and spread to the stars.
The Universim features more than 200 research perks that will help you to shape your civilization. Be as benevolent or malevolent as you like to drive nuggets to evolve, advance, and expand. (Even the best civilizations need an occasional smiting).
Every planet in The Universim is procedurally generated and offers unique characteristics and challenges, ensuring that every world and every game is unique and engaging. Ecological balance and resource management are critical to success. Nuggets have their own needs and behaviors you must attend to. Your guidance will shape how they deal with conflicts, natural disasters, alien creatures, and other civilizations. Their growth and evolution depends on you!

Sehr gut und liebevoll umgesetztes Spiel, zu schade dass es komplett unter dem Radar geblieben ist. Das Spiel hat viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient.
I loved the game! it is FINISHED not abandoned, although; I do agree at a certain point it starts to feel a little... aimless, I feel the true potential of the game lies within the modding and content creator communities being able to create a refreshing unique feel to the Social Media and Gaming side of this genre. If someone could introduce some more content/QOL mods along with a content creator who puts in effort for a quality idea i'm sure it could gain some traction back and give some of the players who want to give this game a chance more reason to, along with old fans being able to come back and experience the game with joy instead of the feeling of a divine 9-5

7.5/10 Its pretty good but I'd rather have a mode where you can do whatever you want and disable achievements and is missing some textures while you wait for new planets you are load also it should be more optimized for a game like this when not that much is on screen or to render as it looks good but isn't realistic only when you pass the Medieval time and are in a dense part It still is a fun game though
I would love to recommend this game I really would. However when the game still contains game breaking bugs this long after the "1.0" release(What a joke). I tried to wait some time to see if things would ever get fixed however they have never polished the late game mechanics. Resources disappearing and other mechanics breaking entirely still to this day is completely wild. Its crazy Crytivo works on way too many projects not to polish anything. I could never in good sound mind support them ever again. I have been around since they kickstarted this game. Their promises they never kept etc. I would say do some research. Look at how many projects they have their hands in/on and look at how many get late game support or true polish.
Ran into some bugs, I've tried to play this a few times and it never really hit the mark. Sounds like they stopped working on it, not recommended.
I have to admit I have some issues with this game. Is it fun? Yes, it is. I liked the design, the music fits very well, and I invested 200 hours in it and was satisfied. But it also has many problems: - First, it's a somewhat abandoned project, and it shows that it was left incomplete, especially in the endgame. Resources like oil and gas aren't well-balanced and are too scarce, so you won't be able to play peacefully building your civilization unless you use mods. - The performance is quite good at the beginning, but as your civilization expands, your FPS will drop, and you'll experience stuttering. You'll have to lower some graphics settings to play decently. - It has some bugs that, while not too serious, can be annoying. The narrator sometimes goes silent, and when you reload a save, the narrator starts talking again, repeating EVERYTHING he didn't say during his silence. This can last for several minutes, and it's annoying. - - In the endgame, you can own multiple planets and visit them one by one. The problem is that when you return to your home planet after a while, most of your population dies of old age all at once, and you have to wait for them to repopulate. It's very annoying. - As I mentioned before, the developer abandoned the game years ago, which is a shame because it had great potential. I only recommend buying it if you find it on sale and if you don't have overly high expectations and just want to pass the time or unlock the achievements. Then it's a good option.
Odobrali češtinu ! Hra je nehratelná bez CZ jazyka!!
Great game at the start. But, as you progress the bugs start showing, certain features don't work, and your game play is limited. This game has become one of my biggest disappointments on Steam and I'm too far in to get a refund.
I have had a very fun time playing this game and, personally think that this is one of the best sandbox games there is out there
If you really like games like this you may enjoy it, but otherwise you probably will not. It's kind of cool to play through once and I could see myself returning to it, but overall it feels more like a civilization simulation rather than a game with too many meaningful choices.
