Great game, wish it was longer!

It was ok, but I would still not recommend this game. Half the issues could be solved with a better translation and interface. The other half is non-intuitive puzzle design.

The Tower of Beatrice was a fun but occasionally frustrating puzzle adventure game. The game leans more towards the point-and-click style than the exploration focused games like Myst. Most of the puzzle areas are fairly contained, and using objects from your inventory is key. Most of the puzzles were good, but I occasionally hit some that utterly baffled me. I needed a guide for those, because I was never going to guess that. The setting and plot were amusing backdrops for the adventure. I enjoyed the surreal characters you meet along the way, and the final room made me laugh. Overall I enjoyed my time traversing the tower, but I recommend being willing ot check a guide if you get stumped.

По сути на выходе мы имеем весьма бюджетный, но интересный мини-квест, который не каждый пройдёт без подсказок, но каждый точно получит как удовольствие, так и небольшую порцию негодования. Das Spiel hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ist eine kurzweilige Beschäftigung. Die Rätsel waren teils sehr knackig und sehr amüsant. Auch die nette Grafik war ansprechend. Alles in Allem ein gutes Spiel und für Rätsel-Ratten zu empfehlen.

This is a beautiful and clever puzzle game, but I wouldn't recommend it. The game is saved only at the end of each level. They are complex with about 6-8 puzzles each, and they are rather time-consuming. I've been working on this for years.
