The Timeless Child is a duo puzzle game that had pretty good puzzles! Story - This is just the prologue so it doesn't go too deep into the story, but it was interesting for what was there. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Characters - I do like it when there are separate characters in a duo game! I do wish we could've seen the other characters design more. I think my favorite part of the characters was having the little girl character (I forgot her name lol) lead through her bell! That was an interesting mechanic that I enjoyed!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mechanics - There isn't much to say about the actual gameplay mechanics, they were easy to use and didn't cause any problems. Like I said before, the bell mechanic was so creative! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visuals - Not many "wow" visuals but I liked how each room was different. The intro cutscene was nice.⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soundtrack - Pretty basic soundtrack, not much to discuss! Worked for this style of game! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Puzzles - Wow these were actually difficult. They weren't just straightforward "do tasks to help your friend" and required you to actually think! The dining room puzzle ESPECIALLY. That puzzle was frustrating for me (might've been because the original person I played with didn't actually do it right so of course I had to call my best friend that has been mentioned in so many of these reviews haha). The greenhouse one was fun, the first puzzle was relatively simple. My favorite puzzles were the clock puzzle and the playroom puzzle (more on that in the next section). ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Duo playability - I loved the way the two interacted! Again, loved the bell idea so so much!! The clock puzzle was fun to figure out with the duo, but the playroom was SO fun. No communication except the bell, what a way for chaos to emerge. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I probably will end up buying the full game as I liked the prologue more than I thought I would!

I wanted to enjoy Timeless Child, but it ended up being one of the most frustrating games I've played. Almost everything about it feels unfinished or poorly thought out. The gameplay is repetitive, the controls are clunky, and the pacing is painfully slow. Instead of feeling challenged, I just felt bored and annoyed. The story tries to be deep and mysterious, but it comes across as confusing rather than engaging. Characters are forgettable, and it's hard to care about anything that's happening when the game does such a poor job of keeping your attention. To make matters worse, the bugs and technical issues constantly ruin the experience. Whether it's glitches, performance problems, or awkward mechanics, it feels like the game wasn't properly tested before release. The visuals might have some decent moments, but they can't make up for the lack of fun. A game can look good, but if playing it feels like a chore, what's the point? Overall, Timeless Child was a huge disappointment. It feels like a game with interesting ideas that completely failed in execution. I regret spending my time on it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they're looking for an exercise in frustration.
Very poorly designed game, poorly optimized and the puzzles very weak. Fun idea, but nothing was done right.
ok
Incoherent story and puzzles. Sad because it has a lot of potential. I don't really recomment it :/
To be honest, it was a decent and nice prologue, however, I hope that if the game will be released in full, it will be a little more interesting or captivating because the puzzles were okay, but not that interesting, and my friend and I felt that when we played. The best way to describe this game is: a good idea, but not executed to its full potential.
very buggy and end so abruptly like wtf
This game is ♥♥♥♥ do not waste your time.
i dont recomendint to anyone is apsolute gabage
if the dining room puzzle wasnt broke its a decent game but breaking one of 5 puzzles in the game makes it terrible. 5 puzzles gang 5 not some 20hours questline its 5 puzzles ridiculous
