Au menu un point'n click indé fait avec les moyens du bord, dont l'intérêt est l'humour décalé et qq références :) Si l'histoire se laisse parcourir, malheureusement les sous titres fr sont un peu à l'ouest même si ça reste compréhensible. A réserver aux amateurs du genre.

[h1]A Point and Click Adventure 2000-ish Years in the Making[/h1] Some of my earliest memories of PC gaming were playing classic point and click adventures like King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, and Space Quest. When I learned that there was a modern point and click adventure that jives with my dark, sometimes sacrilegious sense of humor, I had to check it out. The Third Day has you controlling Jesus after he has risen from the dead, hence the title. It tries its hardest to mimic the point and click adventures of yore, but falls flat in some places. While a lot of earlier point and click adventures have the player right clicking to cycle through actions such as walk, look, take etc., The Third Day has players selecting from one of two bubbles, usually talk and action/look. While the change is not a big deal, especially to one who isn't well versed in these games, it still took some getting used to. Another aspect of the controls that took some getting used to was using items from the inventory. In the Third Day, the player has to drag an item from their inventory to the object/person they want to use the inventory item with. This can be cumbersome at times, especially for those who may be playing on a laptop without a physical mouse. One welcome addition, however, is the way that dialogue is handled. In the classic days, one could just click through the dialogue as it ran in a scripted sequence often ending in a loop; however, The Third Day has options that let the player decide how to respond to NPCs. This gives the game an investigatory feeling as exhausting dialogue options with one NPC might lead to new ones with another. The Third Day is fully voice acted (in Spanish). That is one thing I did not expect from a game produced by such a small developer. Despite not being fluent in Spanish, I chose to keep the voice sounds on while reading the English translation. There's just something about being able to hear tone that can help with understanding. There are, however, a lot of Spanish idioms included in the game that likely make sense to someone who speaks Spanish natively, but they were going right over my head. Overall, The Third Day is an interesting new take on a classic genre. There were some genuinely funny moments where I literally found myself laughing out loud. I would recommend it to anyone who cut their teeth playing the old Sierra or Lucas Arts point and click adventures. That being said, if you are easily offended by religious mockery, this might be one you should steer clear of. Gameplay: 6/10 Fun and whimsical, doesn't take itself too seriously Graphics: 6/10 Hand drawn cartoon style graphics reminiscent of Seth McFarlane art Sound: 7/10 Fully voiced characters (in Spanish) recommended if Spanish is a first language Value: 10/10 Only 1 USD at full price. At a fraction of the price of a movie ticket, it is definitely worth the entertainment one will get from it Overall: 6.5/10
