The Talos Principle 2 is a thought-provoking first-person puzzle experience that greatly expands on the first game's philosophical themes and stunning environments with increasingly mind-bending challenges.

Just skip all the story and do the puzzles
While not as compelling to me philosophically as the first game (which I believe is an artistic choice based on some writing towards the very end of the game), this one easily surpasses it in scale, presentation, and environment design, and the puzzles are no less entertaining. Absolutely worth the time if you're a fan of spatial reasoning puzzles. I played on low graphics and was still wowed by the scenery, so don't feel like you should hold back if you can't run the game at maximum fidelity.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Immensely detailed playing environment with unfathomable game play scenarios. I did reach the end of the game, and yet, I didn't complete all optional puzzles. Looking at the credits, I realized how much effort and time were put into developing this game, and being a newbie game developer myself, I couldn't but appreciate the mastery of the development team. Hats off!
Great Puzzle Game! Puzzle design is nearly perfect in my opinion, they manage to take only a very limited number of elements for each puzzle, but combine them in a way, that the solution is always doable with a bit of logical thinking, but not to obvious (although some are more difficult than others of course). And they are very creative, each of the different bioms adds a new element, but the puzzles never get overwhelming. Graphics are fantastic, they should just reuse the world for the next part of the elder scrolls, that would probably save a lot of developement time... Story raises some interesting philosophical questions, but I'm not a big fan of peacing the story together from notes you find in the enviroment. Thankfully, you can pretty much ignore the story and focus on the puzzles if you want to. One disadvantage of the relatively big world(s) is, that there's a lot of running involved, that can get annoying. Also, some gameplay elements, like the tetris-bridge-puzzles or following the sprites for the star statues don't add anything to the gameplay in my opinion, the game would have been better without them (especially the bridge puzzles that are mandatory, and neither difficult nor fun). But apart from that, everybody that likes puzzle games should play this one.

Yeah, it's pretty good!
TP2 outclasses the original. The addition of characters was a surprise, and ultimately made the story more engaging. The philosophical journals scattered throughout the game felt more pertinent to its core themes than in TP1, improving cohesion for the game's overall message. The new puzzle mechanics were fun and well executed. I enjoyed hunting down all the bonus puzzles, which were very clever and satisfying to solve. My only complaint about TP2 is that I wish the puzzle:reading ratio were a bit higher. Overall, fantastic puzzle game and a step up from the original.
Better than the first. Feels less like a chore. Has puzzles you want to solve. even when you're stuck you don't want to give up
