The Symbiant is a visual novel about two adult men, both from vastly different worlds, embracing their sexuality and their newfound romance. It is also a tale of interstellar friendship and being gay in space!
In the year 5066, Danya and his alien friend Juniper are manning The Ameretat, a humble spaceship that transports goods across the Milky Way.
After a troubled transport gig that left their beloved ship in need of repair and their bank account empty, the team is offered a generous deal they cannot refuse: transporting a beautiful and mysterious alien who calls himself Brahve.
Sometimes at night, Danya hears strange things from Brahve's room. What could he be hiding in there? And how will it affect the connection that's quickly growing between the two men?

I would say, this is one of the most cohesive visual novels I've ever played. Like the story, it was just circling around a spaceship just the three characters managing their bonds with each other until the story ends. I also think this was somewhat unique theme for Boy's Love/Yaoi genre - though I didn't see any sexual intercourse actions (but onto the adult patch) - it's had some supernatural being or alien in their spaceship and one of the character have an intimate-complex relationship with that weird-looking mate of him. When it comes to technicality... Pros: - As I've been mentioned, I loved the theme of the story and it blends out really well on the setting of the game; it compliments in the shimmering yet somewhat minimalistic backgrounds. - I loved the character bonds with each other, very relatable to our current generations with our own perspectives right now about LGBTQIA+ community - no heavy drama. Also, the character designs looks natural not too sharp and shabby on their appearances; not very saturated on colors been picked. I liked each character's traits that really matches their appearances and the like. - The menu and the settings guides the visual reader/player in a simple way that we could understand. No other complicated options that can cause confusions. - The dialogue and how the voice-over actors plays and the way they delivering every word of their role - not bland - it was so natural with so much emotions. - I liked the decent numbers of endings - not so many - just right as this might overwhelmed the players (for me, it would overwhelmed me on how to get each ending), different varieties of endings that I liked, of course the happy and sad endings - the classics. - So genius on how they came up for players to get each achievement. I hope some visual novel game developers come up with this idea, that each dialogue with each choice or option that might be appropriate to get that particular achievement. Cons: - I think this was somewhat a bit short for $10-$12 game with minimum of 8 hours up to 15 hours of gameplay if you do an achievement of playing up screen replays. *But on the positive side, the discount event did the game worth to play as the price decreased. *Now, it is worth the price, but it just to see the sexual action presentation though it's free patch, I hope y'all compressed it in one game. P.S: I just want to commend the background artists behind the beautiful sceneries for the game's backgrounds, they did their job very well. I even picked and display one as my Windows' background as you guys did a great job with those art sceneries. --- Rate: 9.5 (Amazing)
