The Symbiant is a visual novel about two adult men, both from vastly different worlds, embracing their sexuality and their newfound romance. It is also a tale of interstellar friendship and being gay in space!
In the year 5066, Danya and his alien friend Juniper are manning The Ameretat, a humble spaceship that transports goods across the Milky Way.
After a troubled transport gig that left their beloved ship in need of repair and their bank account empty, the team is offered a generous deal they cannot refuse: transporting a beautiful and mysterious alien who calls himself Brahve.
Sometimes at night, Danya hears strange things from Brahve's room. What could he be hiding in there? And how will it affect the connection that's quickly growing between the two men?

It is what it says on the tin! :3 It's expensive but if you are drawn to this game, I think you'll find it's worth it. The voice acting takes it to another level but just the graphics alone are really well done and consistently high quality throughout. I also found getting the achievements, while not difficult, was pretty fun. It was satisfying to know I got to see the full game.
只能說布萊弗真的太讚了
mmmmmmnnggghhhhh yaaaooiiiii i want to squeeze both of them omg i love brahve so much hes so freaking cute
Que história incrível!! O dev está de parabéns, a equipe também! O enredo é muito envolvente, pesquisei pela internet e parece que tem mais de um final diferente. Eu peguei o final Cayama, que sinceramente achei ruim, porque na rota que eu fiz *SPOILER A SEGUIR* eles terminam, e pra o Bravhe ficar bom e fazer o Oatith (que é um ser lá) "curar" ambos precisavam fingir uma cena de estrup#, eu fiquei tipo "OI?" , existe toda uma explicação lá que não vou me estender aqui porque é muita coisa. Faz sentido pro contexto da história? Sim e não, sinceramente eu sinto que não precisava isso, e eu detestei isso, considerei isso um final ruim para mim... e então depois de DOIS ANOS o Bravhe aparece pra ter uma conversa e pedir uma chance e a história tecnicamente términa deixando em aberto para a imaginação do jogador(a) se os dois voltaram ou não. Opnião: Apesar de ter achado que peguei o final ruim, eu vou dar uma olhadinha porque parece sim que tem mais finais, e eu acho que peguei o pior de todos como falei no spoiler ;---; então vou tentar ver outros possíveis finais. Apesar de tudo isso o jogo é muito bom, o enredo é realmente envolvente, a narração é maravilhosa!! Dá pra ver que a equipe e o dev realmente fez esse jogo com todo o carinho, estão de parabéns! Com toda certeza vou jogar o Reunion para ver a continuação e estou ansiosa pelo The Symbiant II, e espero que o 2 tenha em português por favorzinho. Agora vou ver outros possíveis finais porque eu não tô aceitando que peguei o pior final da história, que ódio! ksksksksksks ;-;

Novelita gráfica muy chula. El arte es precioso y las escenas +18 son geniales, y eso que a mi no me suele gustar el material tan explícito. Me encanta como se habla abiertamente de la sexualidad, el consentimiento y los fetiches.
I like men
Danya has my heart and is incredibly cute. Brahve is both mysterious and intriguing. And Juniper is probably the most underrated, most kind-hearted, jovial, and wise best friend you could ever ask for! The Symbiant is probably one of the better visual novel games I've played. It's made with enormous amounts of love, and it shows through just about every aspect of the game. From the title menu screen and artwork, to backgrounds and soundtrack, to voice overs in all important dialogues—(which I was amazed at the sheer amount of voiced dialogue in general for an indie game)—this game amazed me at every turning point. My first playthrough was met with one of the "good" endings, although there are things you can definitely miss if you aren't super careful or don't look up a guide beforehand. My recommendation? Just play it through once without any help. It definitely feels more special that way, and that's exactly what I did. Then go back and grab any achievements you want to get after. Surprisingly, there were a lot more "bad" or icky endings, although you really have to mess up pretty bad, purposely be more standoffish, or not be reading carefully to get them. In this sense, I kind of admire the devs for doing that. It really pushes you to get a good ending, which is what most generally want on a first-time playthrough. My only tiny criticism throughout the entire game, was there not being enough branches in its entirety. It's fairly linear in most regards, yet there are still multiple prompt options that they give you when those branches do come up. All in all, a very small nitpick of mine, and one that shouldn't weigh heavily if you're wondering whether to try the game or not. For me, it wasn't anything I was bothered by, and I look at more from a noted retrospective than a particular turn-off. Highly recommend anyone new to take it with a huge grain of salt. There's also a NSFW DLC you can add, which gives some of the intimate scenes a bit more of a well-rounded feel. Not necessary to understand the impact or writing, but I noticed it made a difference in some of the details written in the dialogue, and only served to enhance the overall mood of sex-specific scenes. (Otherwise the romance is still there with or without the DLC for the most part.) TLDR & Closing Thoughts: If you like a whimsical story—along with space opera, film noir, romance, and boys love as themes—and visual novels as a whole, you're in for a real treat. The artwork and expressions these characters were given was truly beautiful, and I was smiling, blushing, crying, and laughing the entire way through my gameplay. Worth it to the stars and back, and all the planets in-between!
amüsant und gut beschrieben.
