A short game with an interesting premise and execution. Controlling the character works pretty well. Good, tricky puzzles, but nothing too difficult or frustrating. The plot is simple, but has some interesting ideas.
keyboard mouse not working
Although this is a hesitant "No", I must not recommend this game. Spoilers: The environments are good, but not really my style. The story was a big let down for me, it barely scratches the surface of clone horror. 'The Watchers' are sort of interesting, exploring a sentience stuck in a 1D world, while we play as a 2D player. Perhaps they were going for 2D rocks stuck in a 3D world. The game touches on what it means to be alive while we are "talked" at by the cryptic rocks. It is not explained well how the rocks existing could lead to the invention of the "swapper" device, or why it is able to make clones. It seems to be trying to make a statement or provoke thought about killing the clones early, but the game immediately undercuts the message by forcing the players hand to progress. Just picking up the required puzzle pieces kills all the clones. Why do the clones die when you touch them? I feel it fails to deliver any meaningful messages because the main cloning mechanic is very disconnected from the "What does it mean to be alive" story. Just because the story is exploring sentience and souls doesn't mean stapling on cloning just works. The puzzles were okay, most were extremely easy. I really did not like the lighting mechanic, it was not explained through in-game story and it just doesn't look great. I realise this is a 10 year old game made by a small team, but I can't recommend someone pick it up in 2024. Significant mouse issues exist that make it unplayable with mouse&Keyboard which are unacceptable. I had to play with a controller. Its probably better with a controller, but still. 5/10

Great puzzle game! I like the quirky story as well. Would recommend!

Clearly I'm not smart enough to play this game, so I'll take the hint and move on.
