The Swapper

Ingenious, addictive yet extremely frustrating at the same time!!

The Swapper is a surprisingly deep puzzle platformer that blends clever clone-based mechanics with a genuinely haunting sci-fi atmosphere — the kind of game that sticks with you long after the credits roll. Creating copies of yourself and swapping your consciousness between them sounds simple, but the puzzles escalate beautifully, and a few of the later ones had me stepping away and coming back with fresh eyes. The claymation art style gives it a personality all its own, and the philosophical story about identity and consciousness pairs perfectly with the core mechanic in a way that feels intentional rather than incidental. One heads-up: on Windows you may need to switch to the compatibility beta (Steam library → Properties → Betas) to get the mouse working properly, but once past that it runs smoothly. At sale price this is an absolute no-brainer for anyone who enjoys thoughtful puzzle games.

Excellent atmospheric puzzler. The animations and sound effects were great. The story has some interesting philosophy and the ending is memorable.

It's a puzzle game with some good enough puzzles wrapped in a nice enough package. Is it a brilliant narrative with a chilling atmosphere? No not really, but that's just it's wrapper anyway.

A nice, short physics puzzler. With only a basic set of rules, the game presents a decent number of puzzles, ranging from trivially easy to quite-tricky.
