This is my kind of game- detective, puzzle and can't die lol. The beginning and end of this chapter is very pretty. I liked it a lot and it served to immerse me in the game right from the beginning. I found the puzzles fairly easy, but they made sense and fit in with the story of the game which is interesting so far. Voice acting was okay. Inflections weren't always correct but I'd rather have a voice for the character than not. I didn't encounter any bugs in my playthrough, but I thought the game was really too dark. The hieroglyph puzzle was the darkest I've ever seen a puzzle even after turning up the brightness. Even if the atmosphere of the game is dark, I think the puzzles should be easy to be seen. Also, there doesn't seem to be much of a tutorial so some helpful suggestions for other players- You must have the item you want to use selected meaning the icon is in the bottom right of your screen. I know this sounds like I shouldn't have to point it out because the game says it, but it needs clarifying. For instance, you get a flashlight fairly early in the game and it tells you to use F to turn it on and off. If you have another item selected, the flashlight will not turn off when you press F. Same with the googles. You have to re-select the flashlight to turn it off. One thing the game didn't say (or I missed it) is that you can press V to change between first person and third person view. I love it when games have this option. Normally, I prefer 3rd, but I needed the first person to find stuff easier. Combined with the flashlight, FPV really helped cut through the darkness of the game. You can also crouch with C. I really like this game so far and can't wait for the next chapter! Good job Devs!

This was great experience for me. Since I like challenges, this was really one of them. The game is not so easy, and it's not straight forward game. Great game. I can't wait the next chapter.
Well it's a fairly good puzzle game that plays as an escape room game pretty much, and the puzzles are pretty well though and challenging enough. The problem is that there's not really much of a story going on, it's very vague and not compelling enough to justify it being divided in chapters/episodes, cause I honestly don't feel intrigued enough as to spend more money into getting the chapter 2. As a puzzle game it's ok but as an adventure/mystery game it's not.
What an enthralling experience! "The Strange Story Of Brian Fisher: Chapter 1" seamlessly merges a captivating narrative with top-notch gameplay and stunning graphics. As Brian Fisher, I was immediately pulled into his world, driven by the desire to unravel the truth about his father. The cabin setting is meticulously detailed, with every corner hinting at its rich backstory. I especially appreciated the dynamic nature of puzzles – the random positioning of items and ever-changing combinations made every playthrough feel unique. Kudos to the creators for such a brilliant blend of story, visuals, and gameplay mechanics. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter!
I must be the odd ball, because the game wasn't "Fun" OR "enjoyable" to play. The electricity puzzle was Ridiculous. Even knowing what I had to do, it just didn't make sense UNTIL I had to look at a walkthrough to see 'how' you had to do it. And I couldn't follow the 'cables' because it was too dark or I should say dingy. Also, I can't find the two chemicals OR the projection screen. Even after looking a many walkthroughs, I still couldn't find them. And then there is the "computer puzzle"... I don't see HOW any person on planet earth could have found this fun. The graphics are OK, sounds etc. fine. The game ran just fine except one time when I got "caught" going back to look in my cell. The character got 'stuck' in the open doorway and couldn't move in Any direction back or forward. A restart fixed that. IF you can pick it up for just a couple of dollars, I'd say give it a try because many people liked it...I just didn't. It's a fine balance between how hard a puzzle is and how Enjoyable it is. Games like Portal, The Room, etc. nailed it....This game just didn't.
I really recommend this game. For my taste, great graphics and lighting. I couldn't realize what is better in such an environment - third person view or first person view. This game support both of them. The story starts mysterious and in this chapter you will not realize a lot. But I really liked how they ended Chapter 1 ... they opened the Chapter 2 enough to say I can't wait for it and see how the story continues. Puzzles are really tricky. Some of them require lot of thinking and searching clues on different places. They require a lot of logic and attention. Music fits to the atmosphere - dark and mysterious. I like it. Controls were OK too. Let's see what will bring Chapter 2.
Very nice escape room, with nice and smart puzzles, always logic. Worth a try even at full price!
I really enjoyed the story, concept, and puzzles of this game! The location was creepy without being outright scary, which I appreciate, and it left me looking forward to playing the next chapter! Well done on creating a captivating atmosphere. My only issue playing was laggy gameplay - it also completely crashed my computer when I tried to decrease the graphics settings. I updated my graphics driver after the crash and it was still laggy but slightly better and didn't crash again (though the first time I loaded the game after updating I couldn't look around, I could only walk - fixed after closing and re-opening the game).
