The Station

A fairly intriguing short detective story with a sci-fi twist. Very akin to Gone Home but perhaps a little more ominous and mysterious, sometimes even slightly unsettling but far from actual jumpscares. The interiors are beautifully crafted and a joy to explore so if you're into games among the likes of Gone Home, Dear Esther or Vanishing of Ethan Carter, you'll probably enjoy this one too. It's a pity that The Station is so short (2-3h) so there's not much room for character development and the emotional impact is probably the smallest of the aforementioned games, but the ending still offered an interesting twist that made me ponder about humanity for long after I finished it. Worth it when on sale for 1.5€ - 3€.

Thumbs up for good design. Short story but it's a puzzle game and there are great details. There's just a minus. Super high ram usage!

If you want it, get it on a big sale. It is not worth full price due to it being so small and basic. It is interesting but not that much content to go through

Fun mystery game about exploring a space station, about 2 hours long. Snack-sized and the perfect length for what it is!

This was a very immersive experience with a beautiful and well-designed environment and an engaging mysterious storyline. While the play was short, I thoroughly enjoyed playing and it left me wanting more. The log entries are purposeful fragments of the unfolding events, but I would have like to, at the end, have discovered a captain's log or similar that clearly summarized the entire mission, it's discoveries and failures just to bring those fragmented pieces together. Most of the puzzles were easy, which I was okay with because the environment and storyline are the real experience. A couple of the puzzles I found challenging required patience and attention to detail which I don't have. I used a walk-through for both and regretted that I had missed the important clues. Very worthwhile...I'm sad that I've completed it.

I, personally, was not inspired and saw the ending coming pretty early on. But it was fun enough and getting 100% completion was a delightful challenge.

I finally got around to playing this. Not sure when I added it to my steam library(1100+ games now) I really enjoyed this. 100% this game and spent over an hour playing. It's not a long game but the level design in the space station is fantastic. The attention to detail makes it feel like a real lived in place. There's some enviromental storytelling, most of the story is from logs found around the station that help tell the story, I'll avoid spoilers but I'll say that I wanted to know more about the what was going on. I love detective games and walking sims with good writing and sstory. I recommend this if you want a short great story/exploration/investigative type game
