The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice. The game will end, the game will never end.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 5.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

short and funny with a great narration and quirky concepts. i remember playing this when it was originally a mod. it's a fun experience that is worth playing, especially for the multiple endings.

See how I made his name start with an uppercase letter? That shows my appreciation for him. I think because I think the Narrator is the best character, I should totalyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy be added into another game if they make one or something. Slow, repetitive, heavily narrated walking simulator with particularly goofy humor, but... it's hilarious! Perfect if you're looking for a short relaxing and funny game. Can be completed in under 2 hours. However, it's definitely not for you if you're impatient or don't like silly storytelling. I do recommend it, but don't buy this one, rather go for the newer version called "The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe" which expands the game with even more content and includes everything in the original game. It is a bit pricey compared to the short gameplay you get, so maybe wait for a sale!

One of the most iconic games of the 21st century, and one that defies description. But if you want a weird and funny time, look no further.
Playing this game, I wasted a lot of time, and yet zero time at all, because every minute was worth relishing. Awesome writing, wonderful concept, hilarious references.
Played it years ago. liked it. watched a streamer play it again. starting it up 6 years later.
Pointless game that points out how pointless these games are.
Fun. Changes as you play. Funny. Cool beans will be had.
