About
The story begins as a "simple" journey through time following our two heroes Joe and Eva. They want to enter Source City where the life is good and there is no more suffering. As part of their trial to be allowed the entry to Source City, our heroes will visit multiple destinations in the history of their alternate Earth. However, as the story progresses you will learn that there is much more to the story than just time travel.
Visit multiple locations each with their own unique characters and stories. Experience action, love, tragedy, mystery, and much more. Find out the mysteries of this alternate Earth and discover what reality is.
Keep in mind that this visual novel is just a visual novel. There are no choices to make or minigames to play.
I think the story is pretty cool but only if you like this type of game/novel. But of course I think that. I made it.

Reviews
This game is honestly one of only a handful of visual novels that I've played but it was quite enjoyable, perhaps I'll give the genre more of a look from now on. I enjoyed the art style as well. The soundtrack as another delight to the ears & fit the setting of the game very well. My only occasional issue is some of the voice lines cut off a bit short & abruptly. I really enjoyed the twists & turns of the story. Definitely did NOT expect the plot reveals towards the end of the game, well done.
Great voice acting, stories filled with moral dilemmas, quite interesting so far. The story is easy to follow but leaves you with thoughts!
Interesting story so far and great voice acting!

What is real? How do we define if something or someone is real? What makes you so sure you are real? Do you think that just because something feels real, that makes it real? You would certainly experience yourself, your environment and the people in it, as real. Well, that just makes it real for you for as long as you are experiencing it. When you dream at night, do you not while dreaming, believe your dreams are real? It is when you wake up, you realize they are not. And you probably also noticed they were a little odd but you did not notice that while you were dreaming, right? Perhaps that which we call "reality" is the same way. It is a subjective experience and feels very real to us for as long as we are in it, until one day, we wake up. I originally watched this Visual Novel someplace else for free to see if it was any good. It turned out that the Visual Novel was so incredible good that I just had to buy it to support this awesome piece of work!
Decent voice acting, decent length and the first half has a great story. The second half has a mediocre story IMO. It just didn't really feel satisfying to me. And considering this is the epitome of a visual novel (in this case with voice acting) and not really a game since you're just watching a story unfold like in a movie or show or when you read a book, I wouldn't even call this a game. This is just a time to sit back and enjoy a nihilistic story about how
nothing is real and that doesn't matter. We're all created by somebody else anyway
. I think Sophie's World did a better job, but that might just be age talking. I loved that show based on book when I was 14 and it was no way near as nihilistic (at least what I remember wasn't). In the end being satisfied with the story is what makes this game worth it to you or not and I can't judge that for you. For the price it's definitely worth a shot. The first half of the game has a great story IMO. The second have just brakes the fourth wall too often in unnecessary ways, and not only wasn't I satisfied with it, the philosophy was too on the nose for me. I finished the game though, since it's not very long and I was curious how it would end and I also hoped the second half would've been better before
we reentered Source City
. In reality that and the fact we got to see the other side of stories that came up in first half was the best part of the second half. The storyline we travel through twice is interesting, it's just the traveling leads that made the difference to me. The ones in the second half weren't really my cup of tea personality wise (but their style I did like a lot). The art is nice too. They clearly put in a lot of effort there. Spotter's outfit is just asking for a cosplay IMO. So is Blind Lady's outfit. If only I had the money to recreate that stuff, it would look great. All in all a fun experience that I recommend giving a shot, especially with the price tag it has currently (5 EUR). Great value for money. I just didn't fully get the story I was expecting from the demo, but that's fine and on me.

I just played The Source and I'm really impressed! The plot is incredible and following each chapter along with the protagonists made my experience very good! The characters we meet during the journey and their respective stories are interesting and become especially captivating when we have the opportunity to revisit them from a new perspective (I can't say more as even small spoilers can compromise the experience). I also highlight the voice acting and soundtrack, which greatly increase immersion and make everything more vivid! I would have liked to have seen some characters that are repeatedly mentioned but don't actually make an appearance. Maybe in the future in some DLC? The story ends very well, but I can see that parallel plots could be made to expand the world of The Source. Anyway, the final scenes accompanied by the excellent music left me emotional and I really felt sorry for all the characters involved! I'm suspicious of talking about character art! hahah! But I really enjoyed seeing them in the game! Congratulations to everyone involved in the production of The Souce! A great game with an incredible and very well-crafted story! I strongly recommend it to everyone!
