Reviews
Got a recommendation for this game, and decided to try it out. This game was made entirely by AI, and the dev was careful enough to make an attempt to scrub that from his social media. Not careful enough, though. Conflicting sprite art styles, lackluster gameplay, level design that....Jesus, if the dev had just sketched a single level out on a piece of notebook paper, it would have been better than this AI slop. Kudos for trying to make a quick few bucks and punting a bunch of identical-sounding reviews and recs out into the world. Please actually make a game if you want to make a game. EDIT: the dev seems to have an issue with being called out, so I have screenshots for everything I said in my comment below. They will likely try to clean up after themselves...but I didn't mention every AI hallucination I found. If you're going to use AI to make as much of a game as possible, own your process, and don't try to pass it off as bespoke. The game is certainly priced at AI slop levels, I doubt it would hurt too much to be honest.
I just bought and tested this game, and contrary to the other negative review, it works perfectly fine for me. The game loads without any problems and there are no flashing screens or color issues. Everything runs smoothly and works exacly as it should. Enjoy the nostalic feel !"
This game is incredibly cheap. I initially posted a very positive review, but after playing it a bit more a few things started to bother me. The most notable of which is the insistence by others that this game uses a lot of AI. I still don't know if this is the case, but the level design leaves a lot to be desired. Also the ammo doesn't seem to match the gun type. I still don't know if I've been fooled or not, but I have enjoyed my time with this so far and am determined to actually finish it. Like I said, it's incredibly cheap.
I love boomershooters and have played most of em and let me tell you this is an absolute sack of garbage not worth a penny, most of the game is AI generated, heck you cannot even do settings for your controlls ingame, enemies feels like lifeless sprites just floating around when you fire at them with some of the most lifeless and lackluster guns Ive ever tried in a pc game, just play the demo before buying so you can see how awful this game is before you are dumb enough to buy it.
To the Dev. Your game wont load. All I get is screens flashing 5 different colours one after the other. I want to play this game as it does look interesting but it wont load. I wont refund atm but please fix this problem. EDIT: Nah refunded not working.
Good, cheap fun. Lot's to shoot. Not to stressful but not super easy. I'm in!
Truely great game. Very true to old-school boomer shooters of the 90s. It really is a nice mix of Doom, Quake, Hexen etc... it plays and feels very nice. Highly recommended!
