The Sexy Brutale

This game is good. It's a time loop game with touches of the metroidvania genre, where you prevent murders. Now, for me to talk about how the game works, i'll have to spoil the mechanics and its flow, which are better to be discovered on your own, so be aware. [spoiler]You have to prevent some murders, where each of them is like a level, so you prevent one, get a new ability as a reward that will aid you in exploring more of the mansion, then you go to the next murder. The ones you prevented previously will keep happening, but you no longer need to worry about them.[/spoiler] The timeloop is very straightforward. You have 12 hours, each hour is equivalent to a minute, i think. You can skip time to 4PM or 8PM at clocks scattered across the mansion, you can restart the loop by using a pocketwatch you carry at anytime and everytime you restart the loop you lose any collected item, except for two key items you unlock later in the game. The gameplay is okay, it's not really bad, but it's not good either. You will spend most of your time walking, interacting with objects with a press of a button or just waiting to see what's happening, listening, learning... It's simple and serves its purpose, and despite it being slow, i personally haven't mind since the mansion is "small", and its layout is not very complex. But it can get tedious if you're not into this kind of gameplay. About the difficult. The game won't hold your hand and as long as you're patient, listen, eavesdrop and explore, you're good. The hardest part is discovering how to get the information you need. The story is actually good but i think the execution isn't, it all boils down to the ending, where you're told what's actually happening. Try to play without any spoilers, it makes the experience way better, solving the mystery and all that. Just be aware that the ending is kinda hit or miss. The soundtrack is perfect, just perfect. Recommended because, overall, i think this game is good despite a clunky gameplay and some poorly executed storytelling, mostly because the mystery and puzzles were satisfying, not too easy to get unfulfilling, not hard enough to get frustrating.

Some boring "point and click" Puzzle game, just like all of them. The worst genre of games to exist. Developers made closing the game an entire process. It's easier to shut it down with [ALT] + [F4]. Do I recommend this game, what do you think?

The sexy Brutale ist ein schönes Spiel für zwischendurch wenn man einfach mal einen entspannten Tag machen möchte. Die Rätsel sind gut und lösbar ohne das man verzweifelt und es gibt sogar eine Wendung im Spiel. :D Es hat heute auf alle Fälle meinen Tag bereichert.

Pra quem está procurando Sexy eu não recomendo, muito mais Brutale que sexy

A lovely and fairly quick little puzzler. great soundtrack, fun story. for sure worth a play.
