Game world is an actual 3D, but it is point click with instant rotations to 4 sides so navigation is just💀. I will not judge story, but gameplay is garbage. Also after every note heroine be like: "These notes keep mentioning..." *literally first occurrence of the term*

just a good relaxing game

Opening The Search up, I expected a fun puzzle game: what I got was...well...a fun puzzle game...on top of a deep story line, beautiful graphics/scenery, splendid ambience, great voice acting, and a neat soundtrack. Though I did not agree with everything that was said (and that is okay), the message was intriguing and parts of it relatable. If you are looking for a challenging, lengthy, puzzle game with lore that will blow your socks off (if you have socks on), this probably is not for you; but if easy, short, and interesting sayings are your thing, maybe give it a try.

it plays like one of those room escape flash games

the worlds here are actually really pretty, especially with the added sound effects of the feeling the place is trying to emulate it feels a lot like you're walking through a painting, which is a theme of the game "the search" refers to the search of one's true self, and in creating art without external expectations the voice actor did a great job with matching the theme of the game you do have to click to move and to turn, (until one part of the game) which isn't really a problem for this kind of game, but it seems to be the main reason for negative reviews a pretty short experience, would recommend if you enjoy games similar to "the room"

This game makes me nostalgic for my childhood.
