For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. About
Ireland, October 29, 1897.
I’ll waste no time, since there’s none for wasting. I write from Blake Manor in Connemara.
Yesterday, a guest went missing – a young woman named Evelyn Deane. The owner and staff carry on as if nothing has happened.
She has not left, of that I am sure.

It is October 29th, 1897, and Private Investigator Declan Ward arrives at Blake Manor to find a missing woman.
What he finds is the Grand Séance and a group of mystics who have gathered from all corners of the world – waiting for All Hallow’s Eve, the night when the veil between worlds is thinnest. The night to tear down the barrier and speak to the dead.

Interview and interrogate your suspects, keep a record of all evidence, motivations, and clues in your journal, and confront them about their motivations when you’re certain of your deductions. Uncover the truth about Blake Manor and the mysterious séance that has brought everyone together.
Navigate Blake Manor's haunted corridors and uncover its secrets as you race against time to save Miss Deane.

Investigate the manor, solve environmental clues and reach the forbidden areas of the hotel…and beyond.
But be careful - each action counts the day down. Be in the right place at the right time to catch critical events pertinent to your investigation. Everyone has their own agendas and schedules – it could truly be a loss to miss out on a quick chat by mistiming your actions. And who knows what hidden secrets lie in wait once you’ve turned in for the night...

Brought to you by the creators of The Darkside Detective and Raw Fury, The Séance of Blake Manor is depicted by a beautiful comic-book art style. Inspired by Irish Mythology and the spiritualist movements of the Victorian era, players are cast into a first-person narrative adventure, blending the supernatural with a classic detective mystery. With its striking cutscenes, compelling narrative and dynamic soundtrack that reacts to the environment around you, Blake Manor and its secrets will leave you on the edge of your seat morning through night.
...I know the West of Ireland might as well be the far side of the world, for its distance from you but there is no one else to turn to.
I hear you are an honourable man, a steadfast investigator. And – perhaps most importantly – godly.
I pray for the girl that this is true...
TL;DR
A great game. Puzzles and deductions are pretty straightforward, the characters are interesting, and their intertwining storylines are fascinating. Some of the character mysteries are bit out there, but I managed to eke out a victim-free seance in the last hour or so. Very much recommend if you like character-driven mystery games. The reveal at the end was especially satisfying, if not without (very minor) issues. Now to a full review.
WHAT WORKED WELL
+ Main mystery.* With an asterisk, I very much enjoyed the overarching storyline. The research you do on folklore, local legends, and prominent characters feels extremely natural and intriguing. I did, admittedly, enjoy personal storylines more than the main one, but the grand finale pulled me back in. + A game of many beliefs. The game approaches its heavier historical and more personal topics with due respect, in my opinion. You do play as a devout Catholic, which colours the main character's judgements about others and about what's right and wrong, but other beliefs are treated with as much respect. + Voice acting. The game isn't voiced in full, but the interactions that are voiced are exceptionally done. Everyone involved in casting, directing, and acting deserve nothing but praise. + The entire part before the seance. Without spoiling anything, the part before you join the seance and discover the culprit, you have to explore a part of Blake manor that was up until that point unavailable. It's the point of no return (of which the game warns you, thankfully), and the moment you enter the new location, the game flips on its head. The atmosphere of that sequence was impeccable.
WHAT WORKED LESS WELL
- Main storyline. At the end, the main plot became a little too out there for me, personally. Even though the whole game was about magic and fae, the most compelling part was actually personal stories, especially the mystery of the Blake family. Don't get me wrong, the story was still interesting, but it lost steam a little at the end, in my opinion. - Walter Blake. I'm hiding this whole thing behind spoilers, because there's no way to talk about his character without mentioning something that could spoil the fun for new players.
The last sequence of the game where you discover the truth about the Marquess's son was appropriately spooky and fascinating. Time stops following the usual constraints you got used to during your playthrough, and the more clues you uncover about the kid, the more chilling the story became. Loved that. However, there's a big letdown for me, personally.

Any and all plot points that come down to "this wasn't real" seem weak to me. I'm not gonna tell anyone how to write their story, and the developers of the Seance in Blake Manor did a tremendous job with their idea, but I WISH the big reveal wasn't "Walt has never existed."

The untouched kids' toys, the pristine nursery were creepy and awesome. But I WISH it was because Marquess had actually lost both his child and his wife in the accident, and just couldn't deal with the loss, and the staff was non-magically playing along out of respect or pity.

And I know that this type of change would've derailed the whole premise of the game, but a creepy lab and a grief-driven Marquess trying to physically resurrect his son's body using the magic of the seance would've worked so much better, in my opinion.

I blame the lab setting. I really wanted to see Walt floating in a test tube, for some reason.
- The Culprit. There was one specific item you had to notice in the area that usually has NO interactable items in order to confront the culprit. It was a PAIN, and I would never have gotten to the end without googling what I was missing. That was annoying. - The time-skip mechanic. It's the whole foundation of the game, and most of the time it works well, but sometimes it works AWFUL. You can either get more interesting context about the environments and people and visit all events, OR you can gather all the necessary evidence in time. You can't do both without a detailed guide. I missed so much. You cannot explore in this game.

Hmm. I tried, I really did. But this game isn't my cup of tea: there are like twenty suspects, and most of my time so far has been spent raiding their (nearly identical) hotel rooms; clicking on journals and knickknacks; and then tracking them down to ask about 8 things I saw or explored in their room. That's pretty much the gameplay loop. If you love lots of reading and flavor text, then this might be the game for you. As a detective story, it's pretty meandering. But what got me to /ragequit were the seemingly arbitrary 'fail states,' in which you lose the game. I lost the game two or three times during the timed tutorial (fair 'nuff, I guess) but also during a weird dream sequence (I think?). Obviously, a lot of passion went into this game, and the art design is clever and appropriately spooky. But it's not quite what I was looking for.
Super fun! If you like to snoop around, gossip, and get into other people's business this game is for you. The story is intriguing and the atmosphere is the right amount of spooky. I really liked that you are pretty much free to do whatever you want and talk to whoever you want but you have to manage your time and there are also some events taking place at set times and you get to chose if you want to attend them or not, it made it feel like I was really attending some kind of paranormal convention. The cast of characters is great with very nice english dubbing (much love for the italian character being dubbed by an actual italian-speaking actor).
Game is short, and frankly quite easy if you're used to puzzle games. The time feature is more forgiving than you think, as long as you use common sense (and even then, it allows for a lot of room to do everything necessary to get the true ending first try). Story is good, game's worth the 20 price tag I'd say.
Very enjoyable
Very rare for me to 100% a game. This game is such a delight I even did the worst ending playthrough. Really hoping for a sequel or atleast a new game made in this style. Great characters, and story. Some minor nitpicks are there are a few moments where you've clearly solved a mystery, but need one specific piece of evidence to officially clear it. A clue or something in those instances would be nice. Maybe a fast travel once you've been to a location would be nice too.
This game is excellent. Incredibly well designed and implemented across the board - with top notch voice acting. After finishing it once I went back and replayed to solve every person's mysteries. If you enjoy mysteries, great characters, and puzzles puzzles puzzles, play this game!
Disappointed. The atmosphere is fantastic. The manor, the gardens, the dark tone, and the mystery surrounding the disappearances create a very compelling setting from the start. The problem is that the gameplay consists almost entirely of talking to characters and gathering clues to form hypotheses. Since every action consumes limited time and much of the information feels like filler, the investigation often ends up feeling random: you rarely know what will matter and what won't until you've already spent your time on it. There are also very few actual puzzles. Aside from a handful of simple ones, most of the game revolves around conversations. This is especially disappointing because the environments are large, detailed, and visually interesting, yet they are barely used for gameplay. Instead of environmental puzzles or meaningful interactions, exploration usually amounts to clicking on furniture, books, clothes, and other objects that consume time but rarely lead anywhere. The manor itself feels like a missed opportunity. The clue-tracking and document systems are good ideas, but I encountered several issues, including important clues and documents not always being recorded properly. Overall, a decent game with an excellent atmosphere and a promising premise, but a frustrating investigation system, very few puzzles, and an execution that never quite lives up to its potential.
