About
Venture inside dungeons in search of them: each seed will randomly choose a set of artifacts, granting each time a different build. They will be randomly scattered along the worldmap, your goal is finding all artifacts.
The Hand is chasing you and will try to drag you in the Abyss. Wherever you go it will know and attack, sooner or later. You can't stay too long in the same place...
Each step will leave a trail of darkness, step in the same spot enough times and The Hand will destroy that spot. The destruction caused by The Hand will make harder to move around the worldmap, and narrow your options.
You'll have to deal with it, the greatest dangers dwell inside them. Night and depths will show eerie creatures... dark dungeons are ruled by different laws, reach the surface in time or the night will come... and The Hand with it.
In The Rogue of Nexus, time is the most precious resource. Each dungeon is a frantic race against time, with the looming threat of The Hand constantly pushing you forward. Manage your actions and movements in worldmap, then collect powerful artifacts to improve your skills. Each run is a new challenge, and each failure will give you the boost to stand up even stronger.

Reviews
A small game that has a lot to offer. I really liked the retro style but with an innovative twist, with some elements that catch the eye and are very pleasing overall. It's a gaming experience that is meant to be quick and intuitive before anything else, but still has its own inherent depth and complexity dictated mainly by the presence of the Hand, a nemesis perpetually on our trail. Time - and timing - constantly play a key role here. Especially the early stages of the game can seem a bit difficult and punishing, but I think it's quite usual for a roguelike. As far as I've seen to date I only point out a slight general balancing problem. In the moment that I'm writing the game has only the English language, but it remains enjoyable having little text. I close with a special mention for the atmosphere, which between game rhythm, musical accompaniment and settings I find really well done. The Rogue of Nexus, if experienced for what it is, can offer hours of fun (I would like to say lighthearted but I assure you it's not). A pleasant discovery at the right price.
The game would be perfect if it had gamepad support.
