The Roast - Coffee Shop Simulator

The game is in early access so i would not rate it harshly, it's a very well rounded game with a good premise and good execution, the bugs make for annoying set backs but i don't think i have much criticisms for it. I like the fact that it's a slow and cozy simulator, a coffee shop that doesn't have the pressure of "failing" like in other simulator games. it almost feels like im just a person with a passion who decided to act on it. i don't feel the pressure of scaling up, or decorating or even making money. all i do is enjoy making coffee the act of making coffee from scratch feels very nice and calming, the customers don't rush you and there isn't a lot of multi tasking here, i actually learned to make a few coffee options irl from doing it here! I love it when a game actually gives you something valuable. there were minor bugs that made the game a bit annoying, like the storage system glitching and never storing properly, the trays would bug out more frequently than they should, the milk would go stale literally instantly. but those weren't mechanic problems, they're bugs so it's best to just be patient and wait it out i think. i hired one employee to make orders with me before i stopped playing, he did help out a lot and i didn't play enough to encounter problems with him but i did get annoyed that whenever i tried to help him out by adding cookies, muffins, etc to the bag while he made coffee, he'd grab ANOTHER one and give it to the customer. so by helping him i gave the customer extra stuff for free it bothers me that once you ring up a customer they just breathe down your neck until you're done (even with no actual pressure) but them not moving from the counter sometimes makes for a very line of unattended customers that you can't serve or help out. perhaps allow them to move aside? all in all, it's a great game, i'd love to play it again out of early access. not sure if there will ever be any goals to do aside from just playing the game by then or not, but even if there weren't i'd probably be fine.

I truly love this game. The purchase was so worth it. It's still early access so I won't really say much, you know early access has bugs associated with it but I must say the team is very interactive and helpful with noting the bugs and fixing it. A plus team to be honest. I've been leaning into the simulator games and this definitely scratched that itch. I tried this game on a regular laptop (Lenovo, purchased in 2024) at first, it was a little slow and hefty for it. Compared to my gaming PC which runs it perfectly. Just incase someone is wondering how it works on certain low end devices.

A lot of simulator games have come out recently but this is a favorite. Despite bugs, which are being addressed, This is a playable game and can be enjoyed as single or multiplayer. I did not pay a lot for this game and it is early access and being worked on not just left to rot like the fast food simulator. I will continue to enjoy this game and I am excited to see where it goes.

first of all is a rl nice game and it be super cool. i have a big problem with employees, as i can see every1. when barista making an order i cant put anything on a tray or i put and we giving 2 snacks instead of 1. barista making random ordes ( not based with time order ) so i basically cant do anything only watch my shop goes into chaos. It would be cool if I could choose the order he is making or at least i can put something in the tray without all the system bug. My cashier can take 2 orders or 3 i thing 2 and if i grab a tray and put it somewhere else again my shop into chaos. it would be cool if barista coould fill the trays or bags however i put them on. and you can make cashier givi the order but its ok no problem. my problem id that i canot play cause i cant follow my barista, this is a big fail. and the game have so much potential to be great rl i love the idea thats why iam writing. i dont know probably in multyplayier we wont have those problems cause we wont need stuff but so many people we are playing alone so. i really hope to fix those things cause ill fire my barista and i need him. ill say again that this is a rl nice game and i recomended all to play but its not funny with this bugs. but its a new game ofc it will have problem we are here to help you spotted and fixed it so we can enjoy a rl rl nice game you are worked to. thank you!!

il gioco in se e bello ricordiamo che il gioco e in accesso anticipato ci possono essere dei problemi come io ho fatto un errore ho buttato via uno scontrino e la persona e rimasta li ferma non ci sono riuscito a chiudere il negozio io adesso lo comunicato nel forum di steam spero che leggera lo sviluppatore se possono fare qualcosa in merito perche se sbagli sei fottuto..... la grafica e bellissima all inizio non capivo la meccanica poi piano piano ho capito come fare io lo consiglio all 100% perche e troppo bello come gioco e gli sviluppatori ci stanno dietro speriamo the game itself is beautiful let's remember that the game is in early access there may be problems like I made a mistake I threw away a receipt and the person remained there I wasn't able to close the shop I've now communicated it in the steam forum I hope the developer will read if they can do something about it because if you make a mistake you're screwed..... the graphics are beautiful at first I didn't understand the mechanics then little by little I understood how to do it I recommend it 100% because it's too good of a game and the developers are there hopefully behind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZnWXjoa0Jc

Постоянная, не зависящая от действий в игре (в том числе в главном меню) загрузка процессора в 100% - это кошмар. Проверялось на нескольких компьютерах с разной конфигурацией, проблема везде. На слабых машинах вообще играть невозможно, мышь двигается рывками. Ждём оптимизации, а пока - дизлайк.

Sehr schlechtes Spiel. Nach 1 Std Spielzeit stürzte es ab und ich konnte noch nicht mal das Spiel schließen und musste neu starten. Beim zweiten Versuch kein vernünftigen Spielfluss zu viele Bugs. Ich konnte zum Beispiel wenn ein Kunde ein Muffin oder Keks bestellt hat, es nicht rausgeben und somit die Bestellung nicht bearbeiten. Selbst für die paar Euro keine Empfehlung.

Ainda existem alguns bugs bem irritantes. O funcionário barista precisa de muitos ajustes. Frequentemente ele duplica a jarra de leite e o porta filter, além de jogar pedidos no chão por alguma razão. Os outros funcionários já trabalham bem mas não recomendo que você contrate um barista na sua gameplay. No modo multiplayer algumas decorações aparecem para mim mas para minha amiga simplesmente estavam invisíveis. O caminhão de entregas ficou muito bom. Minha principal dificuldade atualmente é que só possuo uma vitrine onde não cabem todos os lanches e não é possível comprar mais no computador. Creio que o que mais precisa de correção é absolutamente toda a mecânica do barista pois ele atrapalha mais do que ajuda. Como posso apenas não contratá-lo, recomendo muito o jogo, é um ótimo passatempo
