If you loved Star Control 2, you are in for a treat with The Quantum Conflict. This game takes those classic space dogfights and amps it up with modern graphics and game-play. You can dive into intense battles with up to 8 players together or through Steam's Remote Play. The time-bending weapons are a game-changer, literally. Imagine dodging asteroids and enemy fire and then rewinding time out of nowhere -- its wild and super fun! This game has a keen focus on fast-paced combat and has an endless mode that is quite enjoyable. If you enjoy space battles with strategic yet energetic maneuvers, this one's definitely worth checking out!
The Quantum Conflict is a solid space shooter with retro charm and smooth gameplay. Some tweaks to camera, power-ups, and respawn mechanics would make it even better. Worth a play, especially with a controller in hand!
It's a fun momentum based game that offers fast paced challenges and an endless mode. The quick matches are great for knocking out a few levels while you have some downtime. Controls were tricky at first but once I got the hang of it I was slinging bullets around gravity wells and teleportation across the play space! The physics of the game and music are awesome!
The Quantum Conflict is a beautiful cosmic brawler that has the nodding to classics like Asteroids but blazing a new path forward. Perfect for Couch co-op or solo ventures alike. To top things off you have active engaged developers engaged with the community.
Honestly, I didn't enjoy the game. With no option to customize the key bindings for M/Kb and/or controller makes the game less accessible. Without cloud saves, switching device and/or uninstalling the game means you'll lose your progress ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Curator Page
That was surprisingly addicting. Fun to just sit back and fly around space shooting other ships! I recommended 10/10.
