Great game, so many choices to progress and so much to explore. Runs perfectly at 200fps on my pc
If you have an OCD-gotta-get everything and build things just right, you might love this. I pisses me off that there is no "move" - which only helps scratch that OCD itch. I love base-building, exploring, the challenge of keeping resources and O₂ / H₂O / food up. Only 150 hours in, but can easily see another 150 put in over the next few months. Wish I knew this was out earlier - I am a late-comer to it. SIMPLE. FUN.
fun
Decent survival game if you like exploring and building machines.
I'm hooked, but REALLY want to play this in full motion VR. The terraforming progression with unlocks is great; and at some point i unexpectedly went full automation. I've got to animals, but have not finished terraforming or the other story. Have explored most of the buildings and ships that i have found (some multiple times) so have read some story messages, along with the other notes. I'm assuming the story is mostly found by exploration with the rare coordinate giving the next location. I did enable 2 mods for Craft From Containers and Quick Store (before automation), otherwise that part is no fun for me. Had done a Flashlight mod, but disabled that once i saw it upgrades. Have mostly figured stuff out, but automation tripped me up because i assumed a locker could accept both inputs and outputs; but now i see its really locker for demand and auto craft for supply. The stuff i'm currently finding elusive are Vilnus egs for Fish Soup, Orema and Volnus plants for insect fuse. Hoping those are in portal wrecks, but haven't tried one of those yet. Don't have any DLC yet, but I like the concept of them adding new areas to explore.
I find it great if you like base building.
