A space survival open world terraforming crafting game, designed for 1 to 10 players. Alter the ecosystem of an inhospitable planet to render it habitable for humanity. Survive, gather resources, and build your base. Then, generate oxygen, warmth, and pressure to create a brand new biosphere.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 44.43/day in the week after.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

For people who are intimidated by the hardcore automation of Satisfactory or Factorio, and don't want to build armies, defenses or weapons, but love manifesting structure and beauty, Planet Crafter is fantastic. The Dev team is so impressive. Work is such quality. I just wish wish wish Planet Crafter worked with the Steam Workshop. The inventory limitations of the base game are intolerable anymore once I found a 10-stack mod.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As something of a survival game veteran at this point, this is gentle PvE. You will at some point die because you forgot to take water, but you won't get spawn killed by the ravenous bug blatter beast, or megapiranha. It's really nice. There are moments of mild peril, and if you're after wild excitement this isn't the game for that day, but the way it unfolds is a nice rhythm, you're never too far off another goal and you'll be sidetracked by something shiny long before you worry about it. There are pretty moments, cute moments, surprising moments, slightly dark moments. I am having a lot of fun with it.
forces you to find chests and explore the world: world is so ugly you dont want to the terraforming so cheapily done, water visibly jumping up without smoothing, same with the ice "melting" or moss growing (you can say its a 2 dev indie studio but thats literally 2 lines of code to implement some kind of smoothing effect) a lott of the game designs are extremely questionable, like not being able to farm seeds making it finite and again having to look for them or how you can ♥♥♥♥ yourself if you build too low and have to start all over again on higher elevation and then the community says its the in game Corporations fault while it was obvious lazy design or how some resources are just not craftable like fabrics... building is extremely broken, i have removed parts of my base while there was still stuff in there making it impossible to put the room back again and having to delete everything that was in that room just to be able to put it back, but oh wait no inventory stacking so all your resources are now on the ground and you may place 1 piece by piece of building/furniture back also no underwater building in a waterplanet is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane work.... just go play per astera or surviving mars both of these have hugely better gameplay, i understand this game is a survival game but its just not a good or fun survival game except to see the number go up and even then youd be better off with satisfactory or dyson sphere program
Going through lungtransplant and waiting for weeks at the hospital, I bought this game. This game will forever be in my heart for getting me through that hard part of my life. This is BS post. Just remember to not like people for posting stories like this. 20 years ago we learned that everyone lies on the internet. Nothing has changed. Do not endorse claim of a hard story because it sound nice. To quote Abraham Lincoln "85% of people on the internet believe in claims if there are numbers in them. Believe me. I am actually a 83 year old grandma trying to save the internet world of gaming.
What an experience - The Planet Crafter may have snuck into my top 10 all time games. I was really not expecting to like this game as much as I do. It's so much fun, it's so engaging. It feels so rewarding. The music, the changing scenery, the world growing around you, the lore and stories of the planet being quietly told in the background - truly remarkable.
Love this game and look forward to every new release, planet and moon, Great job this development team. With kind regards
very good game but its very very and i meant very addictive especially when you turn the game volume and get a good song playing in the background if you want to loose many hours of you life terraforming planets this is the game its great and the devs really knew what they were doing making it so you stare for hours terraforming planets or even afking overnight trust me i know its a great game spend your money on this game its great i dont know what else to say
