The Patient S Remedy

OK so... First of all, I want to comment that I find it in very poor taste that they made and released this game so close to the pandemic. A lot of people lost loved ones and the game uses a very close resemblance to this reality and makes it a comedy at times. Next, I'm really not sure what they were going for with this game. It's about in the same vein as Naked Butler, with some more serious scenes and some parody scenes. However, the serious stuff is really serious - the premise is that your main character eventually dies in all but 1 out of the 16 routes (the good one being unlocked only after you've done every other route). On top of that, the bad ending routes end with heartbreaking deaths of one of the 3 "love interests" (if I can even call them that). There is also an entire friend route that has no comedy and is entirely very very sad. So I'm not sure why they made it like this - they go in most routes from massive parody to very sad and very serious themes, which is kinda jarring. They also go for some sort of horror in a couple of the routes - it's like they didn't know what genre to pick so they just included everything. A few notes: - just like in Naked Butler, there's also a few straight scenes (that you have to go through if you want that one good final ending); - the story employs some time travel weirdness - canonically, all routes have to happen at some point or another and that's why they're needed for the final route - you can see each character's "true ending" only in the gallery, after finishing the last route I want to comment on the voices of the "love interests", too, they were very off-putting in all the erotic scenes. Even the few times they're supposed to enjoy it, they yell like someone is killing them. Again, not sure where they were going with this because I felt very uncomfortable and wanted to get through the scenes as fast as possible. On the plus side, the main character's voice actor does a great job the entire game. Translation is very high on "interpretation" at times (meaning quite off from what they're actually saying). Written text has some apostrophes put in the wrong places otherwise I didn't notice mistakes. The game itself is quite polished from a VN point of view. Has voice acting. A huge number of save slots. You can save anywhere - even at choices. Fast skip button. Log. Gallery for CGs, scenes, music and ending. So all good here. I'm recommending this mostly for the serious parts. I know it's a weird recommendation to make, but I cried quite a lot in this game. Also, the ending itself (of the final route) is OK and leaves you with a good feeling.

This novel wasn't quite what I expected. It has been on my wishlist for a while, and looking at the beautiful banner picture, I was convinced that this would be a heartfelt, deeply moving game about dealing with chronic illness and whatnot. When I first loaded in and saw the Sasaki's eyes, I had a sudden feeling that this looked familiar... Yes, dear reader, it's a Togo Mito game, and I felt ashamed for not immediately clocking it. This has it all—a selfish assho*e MC, submissive LIs, and questionably immoral acts that make you feel bad for those LIs and the other characters. [b]Cons:[/b] Most of the H-scenes and CGs were brief and sometimes repeated throughout a single route depending on which choices you made. The voice acting is quite exaggerated during these scenes, especially the MC's, which made me want to lower their volume even more. Additionally, there is a jarring rock music track that appears when most scenes start, which didn't really suit the mood.. There isn't much substance in the day-to-day hospital life in between choices, which made going through routes a tedious chore—this even made a certain horror twist unsurprising and quite frankly, dull. The plot, itself, is quite straightforward, and the endings largely depend on how the MC has "treated" the other patients. Characterwise, most of the LIs were unfortunately not that interesting. Mishima is the stereotypical sick patient that missed most of his youth, and Minagawa is a one-dimensional tsundere. Simply put, the MC unfortunately did not have any chemistry with anyone besides [spoiler]Yasuda.[/spoiler] [b]Pros:[/b] The overall gallery of H-scene CGs has variety, with the LIs in several different humiliating positions. The MC can also get some action with some side characters. Ironically, I enjoyed [spoiler]Shibusawa's[/spoiler] route the most, even when compared to main routes, and found him much more intriguing/hot. In the [spoiler]true route[/spoiler], the MC can also f*ck [spoiler]the main LIs together, with a bonus Shibusawa scene,[/spoiler] which made all the previous route navigation pretty rewarding. All else, the opening theme performed by OKEKE is cute and catchy, too. In short, I recommend this BL game for a good time as long as you go in with reasonable expectations. Please give it a try!

C'était sympathique ! Pour commencer, le jeu est en anglais (officiellement traduit) mais dans les options on peut choisir de mettre le texte en français, sauf que c'est une traduction automatique à la Google Trad donc je vous le conseille pas forcément, j'avais mis ça avant de commencer le jeu et au bout de 30 secondes j'ai vite fait marche arrière (même si ça peut quand même faire le taff en faisant abstraction des tournures bizarres qui peuvent arriver, dans tous les cas le jeu a pas un anglais compliqué). Il y a aussi un patch à télécharger sur le site de MangaGamer et à placer dans le dossier Steam du jeu pour ceux qui préfèrent avoir les illustrations non censurées (celui à 1,1 GB dans la version r18 du site). Le jeu a une structure assez simple, on commence par le prologue puis une fois à l'hôpital on peut choisir où aller, jour après jour (sur ~13 jours max généralement). Il y a des routes avec plusieurs fins possibles pour chacun des 3 persos principaux et diverses petites routes secondaires, ainsi qu'une "meilleure" fin pour chacun des 3 persos et une True End à débloquer à la toute fin. Sans guide ça risque d'être un peu fastidieux de tout avoir, perso j'ai utilisé celui que j'ai trouvé dans les discussions du jeu sur Steam, quelqu'un a traduit le guide officiel en anglais. L'histoire est plutôt bien construite et avec quelques rebondissements même si ça reste un VN plus centré autour des h-scenes qui doivent faire un bon 40% du jeu je dirais, contrairement à des BL VN comme Hashihime où les h-scenes sont très secondaires. C'est quand même un jeu où pour le bien de la science le MC est amené à déverser sa semence sur le visage d'autres patients atteints de la même maladie que lui pour les soigner et espérer trouver un remède. Comme c'est assez court et que ça s'enchaîne rapidement, je me suis pas vraiment attaché aux personnages mais ils étaient quand même tous appréciables. Ah et, je l'ai pas lu en entier mais c'est beaucoup moins déjanté que Hadaka ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ du même développeur. Niveau durée de vie, j'ai fini le jeu en ~12h avec un guide, plutôt correct pour ce genre de VN. Bref, un BL VN de bonne qualité et qu'est sympa à lire même si c'est pas mon préféré du genre.

Стиму определённо нужна возможность выставлять средние оценки. В общем, из трёх моих последних пройденных яойных новелл эта - самая слабая. Причём сюжет в целом неплох: главный герой падает в обморок, оказывается в больнице, где у него обнаруживается так называемая "свечная болезнь") (candle disease). Вместе с ним в больнице находятся ещё три пациента, которых Сота (протагонист) будет лечить анально и орально. Ну и доктора вместе с ними. И есть такая фишечка, когда ты проходишь одну ветку и не загружаешься с сохранения (если делали), а начинаешь с начала - это влияет на истинный финал. Жести не увидела, однако у протагониста местами проскакивают нотки садизма. Есть грустные концовки, есть даже довольно забавная. Можно накатить патч и убрать цензуру Х) В целом, неплохая вещь, но мне чего-то не хватило. Если более конкретно, то проработки отношений между персонажами. Больше всего понравилась сюжетная развилка, где по больнице начал разгуливать кровожадный маньяк. Итог: красивая рисовка, приятная музыка, характеры персонажей прописаны неплохо. Как по мне, сюжетно средненькая и любовные линии ну такие себе.
