The Outlast Trials

It´s very fun to be gangbanged by prime assets in prime time and if you play multiple rounds, you can go around and listen to every charakter you buy stuff from yap about random stuff and there childhood. very fun, 10/10

The Outlast trials is a 4 player co-op horror survival game that really *emphasizes* the horror, unlike many other co-op horror survivors out on steam. The game can genuinely be frightening in both its shock content and its more latent tense moments. By far The outlast trials strongest factor, for me, is its fantastic story building and lore, The documents you collect throughout the trial chambers and the facility as a whole really makes it feel like it's a living breathing place. The outlast trails is the only example of a live service game that actually FEELS ALIVE, in my opinion. Although the inclusion of some offline accessible mode would have been appreciated. Gameplay wise, It’s pretty fun! Although I only see myself playing with friends rather than by myself or by joining others' lobbies. Otherwise, exploring the environment while you’re running away from the, to put it lightly, fantastic and colorful cast of characters you're put up against is good fun. Lastly, the main thing holding back the outlast trials score, in my opinion, is the usage of generative AI in the final product. While not inherently blatant and apparent in gameplay, I cannot reasonably rate a game in good faith without addressing it and docking points. Even if the assets are placeholders or adjusted. Overall, 7/10 The outlast franchise is great and the trials add onto it in a compelling way. Making The outlast trials offline accessible and removing GenAI assets would diagnose the few problems I have with this game.

This has been the best game I've ever touched. From running from a horny cop, to escaping a fat lady with a duck drill for her hand. I played this with my friend awhile back and it was the most enjoyable experience ive ever had playing a video game. The constant chaos of running around and completing tasks was so fun. This game compacted all of my favorite genres into one. There has never been a game ive played that was like this. If you're looking at reviews to see if you should get this game, PLEASE get it, it is worth the 30 bucks i promise.

Game has singleplayer -> start a singleplayer game -> run in circles in a store for 30 minutes so i gather some boxes while avoiding some fatass with a malformed woman on his back -> 10 out of 10 experience would try again
