As someone from Brunei, I was super excited to see a local game like Coffinman hit Steam!
It’s not every day you see a game developed by someone from our tiny but beautiful country, and for that alone it is a massive respect to the developer! It takes courage, time, and passion to make and release a game, so kudos for getting it out there. That being said, since this is a paid title I also have to be very honest. The idea behind Coffinman is really interesting. It has a lot of potential. But unfortunately the game currently feels a bit undercooked. It’s quite bare visually and the gameplay feels like it’s missing depth and polish. It just needs more time in the oven! This is not meant to tear down the developer, though. I hope this feedback can be taken in stride. You’ve already taken the hardest step: starting and finishing a game. That’s more than most people ever do. Please don’t let this criticism demotivate you. Use it to fuel your growth. I want to see more Bruneian-made games here on Steam. So to the dev: Keep going, keep learning, and keep building. With more time, more polish, and more confidence. I’ll be rooting for your future projects. 💪🇧🇳
