The Monarch

I really feel like something is missing but I cant say what, the game is fine but restarting from 0 with barely any change each game when you die is not really interesting. The game got quite boring just after 1h or so of gameplay :( It's a bit of a miss for me sadly with a 6/10 maybe

Even for 5 bucks this isn't worth your time. There is no rougelike gameplay. The elements they tried to add have such a little impact to the game they aren't worth mentioning. You will run out of things to invest your money in that matter. You will wait for long periods of time as you sent out the same limited raid with a hero that can only do a certain amount of damage to the enemies. These characters are useless against the bosses. They have ascension modes but after you've won the first time, you're already exhausted from the first game. No reason to pick this up. It isn't finished. It isn't fun. It isn't worth your $5 or time.

Есть хороший проект Two Crowns. Именно с него слизана эта игра, но накидали сюда камеру сверху и воксельных моделек. Мир пустой. Интерфейса никакого нет, оплачивая многие постройки или заказы - не понимаешь, что же по итогу сделал. Хорошо, если на следующий день появится сундук и деньги тебе вернутся. Не хватает всплывающего окна, которое бы являлось описанием строения/заказа. По карте бегать утомляет. Бить оленей и курочек - такое себе. В общем, визуально - не очень. Геймплейно - топорно. В целом - скучно. Не рекомендую.

Good game like to play

It's a simple game, but very entertaining. If you have ADD, you're going to get sucked in for hours. The DEVs are awesome taking feedback and ACTUALLY implementing feedback.

Ziel ist es, die Nacht gegen Gegner zu überleben und die Portale, durch die Gegner spawnen zu zerstören. [b]Pro:[/b] - angenehme Grafik - passive Fähigkeiten zum Kombinieren - ruhige Atmosphäre [b]Contra:[/b] - hoher Ressourcenverbrauch (PC) - wenig Abwechslung - gamebreaking bugs - Münzen verschwinden/glitchen in der Luft - an Mauern kann man Angriffe nicht mehr starten - sehr langsam (je länger die Wege werden, umso mehr wartet man einfach) [b]Fazit:[/b] 'The Monarch' ist ein sehr entspannendes Spiel für einen ruhigen Abend und bietet, danke der passiven Fähigkeiten, ein wenig Strategie. Jedoch fehlt es derzeit noch an Inhalt und ein Durchlauf von ein paar Stunden, kann durch Spielfehler einfach vorzeitig beendet werden. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass sich das Spiel im derzeitigen Stand nicht lohnt. I was curious about The Monarch, since is heavenly inspired by one of my favorite indie game series, Kingdom, and they tried to follow the same formula, but in 3D instead of 2D. The Monarch has many problems, many bugs, and many stupid choices that made me quit this game for good: [list] [*]This game is tagged as rogue-lite, but all progress resets after dying in one run; [*]Softblock when playing with a controller: it could happen that on the level-up screen you can't select any power up, even changing to mouse and keyboard doesn't unlock the screen. Alt+F4 is the only solution; [*]Very often builders don't cut down a tree and they leave it hanging there for the rest of the run; [*]Motion blur can only be disabled by changing graphic settings from High to Medium; [*]Only one map, almost zero replayability; [*]The following is the most annoying bug: often enemies go through walls and kill all the units behind them, making the archers useless. [/list] Before playing The Monarch, I tried the demo and it wasn't as messy as the full game. Isn't it a little scummy? Refazendo a minha análise, já tinha comentado que o jogo era legal, mas tinha alguns bugs chatos, e comentei isso na Central da Comunidade do jogo, o ADM do jogo me respondeu, e em menos de 24 horas, lançou um update resolvendo esses bugs, nossa, o jogo ficou muito melhor agora, da pra perder umas horas nesse jogo... Ele é estilo o Kingdom: New Lands e seus sucessores, porém nesse jogo a gente tem uma visão e animação numa vista diferente, e tem árvore de talentos pra poder ir melhorando para as próximas partidas.
