This was one of my favourite Oh, A Rock! Studios games yet! As a departure from many of their other games, this game was less of a straightforward visual novel with different pathways, and more of a first-person point and click adventure game, similar to a more simplified version of something like the Carol Reed series. I personally find the point-and-click gameplay more fun and engaging than just reading through a visual novel, so this was a treat! The game features quite a lot of different real-life locations to explore, and you will learn some history along the way while solving light puzzles and scavenging for clues. The game was about 3 hours long for me, but could be longer or shorter depending on whether you rush it or take it slowly and explore every frame of each location. The game relishes each location it depicts, and allows you to explore all sorts of interesting corners that aren't strictly relevant to progression, but are just fun to look at, which I appreciated! A couple of minor criticisms: Firstly, if you save the game and come back the next day, you'd better remember what you were doing, because sometimes you can't access a character again to ask them what to do (I got stuck on a puzzle searching for a comb after going to bed and forgetting my task in the morning). Secondly, I think that the photos were sometimes a bit wonky, which disoriented me a bit when clicking between frames, but it was overall quite well shot. Both of these criticisms were quite minor, and do not detract from the overall charming game! The writing was also excellent, and I especially loved the ending, but I won't explain why, you will just have to play and find out ;) Finally, the funniest part of the game was a little homage to another game with a similar name... I'll let you also play and find out what I mean, but you will laugh a lot. :D Overall, a wonderful game, and one of the best games from this studio! I really, really hope Oh, A Rock! make more point-and-click adventure games in this style in the future. Great work!! :)

I love these first person adventures using real world photos. It's like a virtual sightseeing tour to unknown and interesting places. Unfortunately these kind of games are very rare so of course I had to buy it right after I read about it. The game can be described as a mixture of StreetView, Geocaching and scavenger hunt while learning about history all packed up in a fun little story. The dialogues are really funny and I love the easter eggs for example to the old Oregon Trail game. It took me 3 hours to complete the game and another hour for a second run with the final achievements and the interesting making-of bonus material. All in all I spend 4 hours for around 5 Euro which is a pretty good deal. I'm really looking forward to other similiar games of this studio.
An interestng visual novel game. A history lesson, and plenty to remember. The only issue is its easy to get lost and this can be frustrating.
Great Wholesome down to earth Game Thank You I played this Game with calmness, and enjoyed every single minute of it Please Sir More-More Thank You
No media set in Oregon City would be complete without featuring the Municipal Elevator, and this game delivers. The interactive point and click photography style of this game is really cool, and it contains the trademark humor this dev studio is known for. All hail the Municipal Elevator.
Just a charming and goofy adventure that feels like a group of friends and family made a game for each other. Plus I learned about Oregon history
What a fun game! I've never been to Oregon City before but I feel like I have now because of this game. The puzzles had an element of challenge to them but were not overly difficult. I have enjoyed all of the games I have played by this company, and look forward to playing more in the future.
