About
is the new terminally strange, yet strangely sweet adventure by Sad Mask Party, the twisted brains behind other twisted and brain-melting games such as Mango, The Lotus Holidays and GLITCH DADDY.
THE STORY
A year after the passing of their dear former friend Laurie, Mae and her group of girlfriends decide to go to a warehouse rave party in the forest, as a way to honor her memory.
At the rave, Mae goes on to experience an intense bad trip, forcing her to abruptly leave the dancefloor, as well as her friends. Then, she is left to explore the warehouse, getting deeper and deeper inside what morphs to be a liminal dreamscape where everybody seems to have disappeared.
Or have they..?
Help her find a way out and wake up, or witness her descent into a dream that lasts forever.

Liquid Jet is Sad Mask Party’s latest surreal narrative experience, and from the very first moments, you know you’re in for a strange ride. The atmosphere is one of the game’s strongest assets. The sound design, with its great music, alongside the visuals, produces a layered ambiance that makes you feel at times as if you're being observed, like you’re wandering through someone else’s fading memory. What continues to amaze me is Sad Mask Party’s ability to shift seamlessly between tones, from light-hearted or absurd to moments that are surprisingly eerie and filled with dread, without ever losing cohesion. One of the standout moments for me was the “bad trip” sequence. Liquid Jet is slightly darker than Glitch Daddy, but also more streamlined and focused. It feels more deliberate, more refined, while still retaining the creator’s signature weirdness. If you’re into experimental narrative games with surreal aesthetics, Liquid Jet is definitely worth the dive.
Another excellent experience from Sad Mask Party. This game covers a number of themes which are not covered to the same degree in previous games, and handles them very well. A number of motifs and references to previous games which those familiar with Sad Mask Party will appreciate. Could recommend to any players looking for an unusual and interesting experience.

I've still got a good ways to go to get all the achievements, but once again, Sad Mask Party knocks it out of the park with another game that's got stunningly bold visuals, an incredible soundtrack, and a really good story. I swear there's a point in every game from this developer where it feels like my heart is being squeezed because the emotions get to me. I think (so far, at least, again, I still haven't 100% completed the game) this one feels the most straightforward in terms of story but that doesn't make it any less detailed and rich. Can't wait to see more from Sad Mask Party in the future!
También mejoró mucho el diseño de niveles! mucho más intuitivo, aunque eso también limitó la creatividad delirante de este juego. por otro lado, creo que si repiten personajes y agregan referencias del juego anterior, ambos deberían estar conectados más allá de la imagen. de todas formas es muy buen juego!! i wish i could help to develope the deep lore of this amazing world. it would be amazing to develope a dlc where we can find more about the lore and deep moments. can't wait to buy and play older games, can't wait til the next game! ---- UPDATE el juego no es tan corto!! por los carteles y la incomodidad en algunas partes me apresuré a salir de ciertos niveles sin explorarlos!!! el juego está a la misma altura que glitch daddy <3
I wasn't very invested in the story as much as the previous games, and it's a bit short. But still enjoyed it.
