二十多分钟的流程长度。极其精致的美术风格。有意思的小交互玩法。全中文配音旁白。我觉得很值得一试。

A short narrative/story which lets you watch things play out across a beautiful little diorama that is set out around you. There are several interaction points but they are fixed elements which block the story until you push/pull/twist them. Not interesting from a 'game' perspective, but they do add to the feeling of watching an intricate automata running in front of you. The story is sweet. Nice narration and pretty graphics. If you have already enjoyed the free narrative titles on Steam (eg. Invasion!, or the Google Spotlight Stories) then this isn't a bad example of a paid equivalent, but as ever, given the run time, you are paying to support the artists rather than to maximise 'play' time. If you do want to get into more narrative experiences then you might also want to look into some of the longer running titles such as Gloomy Eyes. Or even something like The Invisible Hours which lets you experience a story whilst roaming freely around a mansion! The one thing I kind of wish The Line did (in that I was expecting it to happen but it didn't) was that I was expecting that you would actively end up reshaping the narrative by changing the order of the interactions thus causing different events to play out across the diorama. It's a shame that you are only ever given a single point of interaction to continue because being actually caught in a loop until you figure out how to disrupt it would have both been a fun puzzle to play through as well as supporting the story being told.

It's charming, but not a real game. It's not worth the full price to me.

Fantastic story telling with minimum interaction (pull a lever, twist a dial...) Lasts 15 minutes. The story is a love story between the paperboy and the florist of a town... its nothing ground breaking, but its wonderous to see and check the details of the town models. The narration is super pleasant and easy to understand, subtitles are placed in a non intrusive position. I wish it had Spanish dialogue! and that it lasted more! Good story, beautiful detailed world, but a bit short... still its really well done!

Was für eine süße und bezaubernde Geschichte. Voller Botschaften und Anspielungen und sehr schön umgesetzt. Ein wenig darf man sich auch beteiligen (und kann dadurch die Geschwindigkeit beeinflussen - soll heißen, wenn man möchte, kann man sich alles ganz genau ansehen, so lange wie man will).

(Vive) Чудесная бразильская история. Аудио на английском и португальском (ура!), субтитров на русском пока нет. Есть версия для сидящего игрока. Если играть стоя, нужно довольно большое пространство. Это полностью 3D-декорации с фигурками. Тщательно сделанный макет, хочется потрогать. После таких игр понимаешь, что многие другие хуже, и дело вовсе не в уровне развития VR. Короткая.

Wer einmal 30 Minuten in eine andere Welt eintauchen möchte, für den ist diese Spiel perfekt. Es erzählt eine tolle kleine Geschichte und sieht dabei auch noch echt klasse aus!

UPDATE: The latest version fixed the crash. Possibly stay away if you have a WMR headset. The "game" crashes every single time near the possible end of this story. I contacted the developer and they don't even care to reply. A nicely done story telling experience with a carefully crafted and well designed environment. Clever use of spot lighting. English narration quality is worth mentioning. Bravo!

A beautifully made short interactive experience that I thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend!
