A commentary on life looked through the lens of deep depression and meaninglessness. If you're the right person, and you know if you are the right person, it's worth the 10 minute experience.

First sentence has a typo and it sets the tone of the game almost immediately. It tries to be deep and thoughtful but comes of as cringe and edgy instead.

Man did this make me think back on my life, and the struggles I had with my own mental health. It's surprising how much your life can change for the better over something as simple as just talking to someone.

Artistically it's well put together with mostly minimalist graphics to represent the world, but the story... kinda doesn't particularly go anywhere. I get what it's going for and I guess it might be a darkly relatable thing for some, but it felt cliché. I don't think it quite gets into "edgy" or "pretentious" territory as what this could have gone, but I also think this kind of antagonistic inner voice has been done better elsewhere. Also, there's a distinct lack of proper branching. The playthrough (positive ending) took me 17 minutes, and then about 11 to "speedrun" the game to check out all other branches, which turned out to all lead to the same ending, not even with much in the way of difference from the choice points (there's an extra image and two lines if you get there early, but that's it). Now, I know the story really doesn't lead to a full on choose your own adventure vibe, but a bit more could have been implemented for the sake of rounding off things. It'd be a neutral recommendation if Steam had them, but it just tips enough into the negatives to be a thumbs down.
