The Last Transmission is a short, first-person psychological horror game built around isolation, atmosphere, and slow, creeping dread.
You play a radio operator trapped in a remote station, using a radio, phone, and typewriter to make sense of unfolding events as reality gradually unravels. The horror is subtle and narrative-driven, focused less on shocks, and more on the quiet realization that something is deeply wrong.
The Radio – Track storms. Tune forgotten frequencies. Intercept transmissions that shouldn’t exist.
The Typewriter – Log the weather. Log the voices. Log what’s happening, before it starts logging on its own.
The Phone – Your only link to the outside world. Unless it’s been lying.
The Station – A remote outpost buried in silence.
The House – Abandoned across the lake. No lights. No footprints. And yet, someone turned on that lamp.
The Storm – Unnatural. Alive. Something is inside it, and it’s getting closer.
The Mountains – Vast, cold, and empty. An endless alpine wilderness... with a single red light glowing far in the distance.
You listen. You log. You follow the signals.

The Last Transmission is strange, often frightening and very enigmatic. This very odd game was a delight to play. If you enjoy ambigious, unnerving settings and scenarios, you will LOVE this title. It was an excellent time.

It's not that long to finish and there are multiple playthroughs available in case you miss something (or get a different ending, possible, who knows :P) My community and I had a lot of fun playing this. Give this game try if you like spooky, mysterious stories and surroundings. The only downside is actually the missing subtitles with the radio messages. So if you have those pay good attention!
+ incredible storytelling with a creepy and ominous setting + good visuals that you can easily costumize if you want it less dark (just increase the gamma) - no subtitles for radio transmissions, which makes it hard to hear all the messages (please add this <3) i highly recommend
Awesome game: short enough to keep the momentum going-long enough to have depth of the story. I'd replay this just to try something different each time. I really like the agency you have as the game flows, even if the consequences seem tough. The writing and voice acting are spot-on. The atmosphere alone has the heaviness like any good horror game should have. The mechanics are solid and held up well for me. One thing I'd like to see improved is the look sensitivity - it seemed to reset to default whenever I zoomed in. Such a minor detail but it did break immersion a couple times. Aside from that minor inconvenience there was nothing major to break the game's experience. I highly recommend this to people who enjoy atmospheric horror and controlling the story's path. Very good game, I am eager to see what Hidden Veil has next!
A deeply unnerving horror experience. No jump scares, but I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Fun horror game, but I was hoping it'd be a little longer for the price. Still a good time and has some replayability to find things missed the first run.
