Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In a desperate move to end all wars that have been rampaging the world for decades, the mages provoked The Cataclysm. Massive balls of pure magic obliterated nearly everything. A strange purple mist propagated everywhere, with hordes of bloodthirsty mutants coming at night.
Our only hope is now to banish all magic from this accursed world by casting The Last Spell, requiring several days of uninterrupted incantation whilst a few strained Heroes try to protect those damned mages.

The Last Spell is a tactical RPG with roguelite elements in which you have to defend a city against hordes of deadly enemies.
During daytime, prepare your Heroes, carefully choose how to rebuild your Haven and position your defenses. Over the night, exterminate all the monsters coming at your walls with a large range of weapons and skills. Then heal, level up, and repeat until the Magic Seal is broken.

Turn-Based Tactical RPG:
● The whole RPG package: a flurry of stats, skills, perks, traits… and more.
● Tons of items: armors, weapons, trinkets and potions… with their own stats and skills, as well as optional random modifiers. Each weapon has its own skillset and playstyle!
● Build your own classes: upgrade your heroes with stat bonuses and perks, and equip whatever gear you wish. Want to make a glass cannon rogue/mage fighting with a gun? Do it!
● Manage your squad of heroes: they’re strong, but they are few and have access to limited resources. Healing and mana are scarce, so try to find a good balance.
Hordes of Evil:
● Think and adapt: you will face swarms of deadly enemies with only a few hardened heroes. Optimize your positioning and plan your actions: big AOE attacks, crowd control, buffs, poison... Every Action Point counts towards another day of survival.
● Enemies have strengths and weaknesses that will challenge your wits. And because hard is not enough for us, be prepared for the terrifying Elites!
● Each map will end with epic fights against unique mind-bending bosses.
Protect the Haven:
● Rebuild the city to help you in-between fights. Get healed, forge new magical weapons, get new heroes. Spend your resources wisely, commander!
● Build up your defenses: walls, traps, towers, catapults… every tiny bit of help is welcome.
● Protect the Magic Circle at all costs! If you lose it, humanity is doomed.
● 5 Havens to protect, each with their own setup and challenges requiring you to tailor your strategy to beat the Great Evil.
Roguelite Elements:
● The game is meant to be hard. You will fail… A lot. But every time you do, you’ll grow harder, better, faster, stronger!
● Procedurally generated enemy waves, characters, weapons and a ton of unlockables will keep you entertained until the real world collapses.
● Tailor each run thanks to the Omens: a limited amount of bonuses that can be picked for the upcoming run. Do you prefer more Action Points, more characters, sturdier defenses, better loot? Experiment to find your preferred tools of destruction.
● Scale the difficulty to your liking, with 6 levels of Apocalypse to entertain even the most hardcore players.
Headbanger Soundtrack:
● Over 25 tracks of thunderous synths-driven progressive metal to guide you through this joyous slaughterfest
● Composed by the incredible Rémi - The Algorithm - Gallégo

Amazing game, one of the best ever made for it's specific combination of generes. I would reccoment, however ATM the balance leaves much to be desired.. Hand crossbow is the one and only weapon you can equip on every character and steam-roll through the game.. Rifle is a close second now with the propaagation bounce. The devs, instead of properly balancing the game, has let these 2 weapons sit at the top tier, despite numerous nerfs, none of them are nearly far enough... For context, 1 hero with a hand crossbow can easily equal 7 heroes with any other of the next best weapons (besides rifle) In a game with dozens of weapon types, I'm amazed the devs have failed to balance this. Either way, if you want a true challenge you can just omit the crossbow using the standard weapon selection menu before each run. Still.. They should have a better semblance of balance in the overall game.

Give whoever does the OST a f***ing raise, it's so good
Whoever designed this game loved Final Fantasy Tactics as much as I did. But the heroes in the Last Spell put the characters from FFT to shame- the units are uber-powerful in comparison. But they also need everything they've got to defend the town from the seemingly endless hordes that emerge from the mist each night. Part tower defense, part resource/item/unit/town management, part turn-based combat, the depth & complexity of this game just keeps on growing, and frankly it keeps on growing on me. The tutorial and first full map are a little basic, but the constant upgrades and added mechanics are way more fleshed out by the second map. There's so much stuff you can do to upgrade both the town and the heroes. Weapons determine move-sets but units can carry two different weapons, as well as a number of 'consumables'- which never get actually run out, they just have a limit on how many times they can be used per night (so use them, they've saved a number of my runs). At first I was giving each character two weapons of the same damage-type (melee, ranged, magic) only to realize that there's little if any penalty to give them different damage types. So you can give your melees a close-ranged range/magic weapon (i.e. a pistol) to give them something to do when they're not right next to enemies, and your rangers can be casters and vice versa. (As far as melee goes, my favorite units- u can also upgrade their movement & related skills so they remain relevant compared to the more distance-loving AoE casters & long-ranged archers. I've been using solo melees whenever there's too many enemies coming at me from different directions to have 2+ heroes per side & they haven't disappointed). Each night you get attacked but you can't just go all out & use all ur mana & HP as they don't get fully refilled each day. But there's buildings that can improve that, as well as provide extra bonuses, gear, even heroes. I spend nearly as much time on management during the day as I do on fighting at night (which I think is great, there's a lot to do rebuilding the town and customizing/upgrading heroes). Each map is its own thing & as such when you beat one & move on to the next you restart with new lvl 1 heroes. I don't care really, building them up is fun- but I sort of wish there were maybe some recurring special 'named' characters- or other devices to further the plot- because as such it doesn't really seem to exist. But aside from that I'm actually enjoying the game more the more I play it, and I think that alone is a pretty good compliment about it.
Fun game at I have put quite a lot of hours in. DLC seems a bit disappointing but I like the base game
