Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In a desperate move to end all wars that have been rampaging the world for decades, the mages provoked The Cataclysm. Massive balls of pure magic obliterated nearly everything. A strange purple mist propagated everywhere, with hordes of bloodthirsty mutants coming at night.
Our only hope is now to banish all magic from this accursed world by casting The Last Spell, requiring several days of uninterrupted incantation whilst a few strained Heroes try to protect those damned mages.

The Last Spell is a tactical RPG with roguelite elements in which you have to defend a city against hordes of deadly enemies.
During daytime, prepare your Heroes, carefully choose how to rebuild your Haven and position your defenses. Over the night, exterminate all the monsters coming at your walls with a large range of weapons and skills. Then heal, level up, and repeat until the Magic Seal is broken.

Turn-Based Tactical RPG:
● The whole RPG package: a flurry of stats, skills, perks, traits… and more.
● Tons of items: armors, weapons, trinkets and potions… with their own stats and skills, as well as optional random modifiers. Each weapon has its own skillset and playstyle!
● Build your own classes: upgrade your heroes with stat bonuses and perks, and equip whatever gear you wish. Want to make a glass cannon rogue/mage fighting with a gun? Do it!
● Manage your squad of heroes: they’re strong, but they are few and have access to limited resources. Healing and mana are scarce, so try to find a good balance.
Hordes of Evil:
● Think and adapt: you will face swarms of deadly enemies with only a few hardened heroes. Optimize your positioning and plan your actions: big AOE attacks, crowd control, buffs, poison... Every Action Point counts towards another day of survival.
● Enemies have strengths and weaknesses that will challenge your wits. And because hard is not enough for us, be prepared for the terrifying Elites!
● Each map will end with epic fights against unique mind-bending bosses.
Protect the Haven:
● Rebuild the city to help you in-between fights. Get healed, forge new magical weapons, get new heroes. Spend your resources wisely, commander!
● Build up your defenses: walls, traps, towers, catapults… every tiny bit of help is welcome.
● Protect the Magic Circle at all costs! If you lose it, humanity is doomed.
● 5 Havens to protect, each with their own setup and challenges requiring you to tailor your strategy to beat the Great Evil.
Roguelite Elements:
● The game is meant to be hard. You will fail… A lot. But every time you do, you’ll grow harder, better, faster, stronger!
● Procedurally generated enemy waves, characters, weapons and a ton of unlockables will keep you entertained until the real world collapses.
● Tailor each run thanks to the Omens: a limited amount of bonuses that can be picked for the upcoming run. Do you prefer more Action Points, more characters, sturdier defenses, better loot? Experiment to find your preferred tools of destruction.
● Scale the difficulty to your liking, with 6 levels of Apocalypse to entertain even the most hardcore players.
Headbanger Soundtrack:
● Over 25 tracks of thunderous synths-driven progressive metal to guide you through this joyous slaughterfest
● Composed by the incredible Rémi - The Algorithm - Gallégo

Reviews
A game that oozes atmosphere out it's chunky little pixels, it has a fantastic soundtract and an enjoyable, desperate gameplay loop that isn't quite like anything else I've seen. I can't speak to the DLC's, which seem to have mixed reception, but the base game is a delight.
What a fantastic game. Depth, constant unlocks and a feeling of progression. Good solid gameplay loop. Ability to ramp up the difficulty high if you want it, plenty of playstyle options. One of the games that really lets you feel powerful. Something so satisfying about using the guns and watching 5 enemies die with a single click. Music hits right, game feels good. Happily spent nearly 70 hours!

This game is really damn cool. The Rogue-lite aspects really shine when you get a build together that works well. Skills feel incredible to use and most weapons are a lot of fun and provide lots of different play styles. The Sound track is absolutely kick ass and before you know it your "Killing in the rain!" This game does voice acting better than any AI i have ever seen. (The game isn't voice acted but the text has SO MUCH LIFE to it). If you like turn based tactics games this one is a must get.
For the most part, this is a 10/10 roguelite, but the last 2 maps drag it down slightly. I don't think that the last 2 maps are very well designed; both feature very RNG-reliant gimmicks, and the last map also features enemies and traps which attack on the same turn that they spawn. This is the worst aspect of what Fire Emblem players call "ambush spawns," i.e. enemies that can spawn and kill you without any warning. There is nothing strategic about this setup, so it has no place in a strategy game. Fortunately, I wouldn't say that these maps drag down the game that much. And even with my gripes about the final 2 maps, The Last Spell is an exceptional game with exceptional depth and exceptional replay value. It's one of the beefiest and most polished roguelites I've played. Not only this, but it successfully blends elements from kingdom building, tower defense, turn-based strategy, and RPGs. I always enjoy seeing a game which stands on its own as an original fusion, rather than being a blatant derivative of something else. (And yes -- this remark IS indeed a jab at the hundreds of blatant Final Fantasy Tactics clones. You know who you are.) ...I almost forgot that I have one more minor complaint: considering the length of any given map (upwards from 5 hours, usually), it would've been REALLY nice to have a "restart night" button. Functionally, Alt+F4 fulfills this purpose, but this should probably have been baked into the UI to begin with. Surely you could argue that "restarting a night defeats the purpose of a roguelite," which is true to an extent, but in TLS, any given night usually lasts as long as entire PLAYTHROUGHS in many other roguelites. It's whatever, though: like I said, this is a minor complaint that isn't a dealbreaker by any means.
A genuinely solid experience
10/10 A hard game, but very fun to play!
At first guys, give it chance, trust me. At first it seemed boring at the beginning, but after idk 2 hours of playing i was actually enjoying and starting to understand the potencial of this game, So guys, pls, i rly recomend this game, bc its so unsueal and creative.
great game, to me feels like kings is watching/super fantasy kingdom + xcom or dakrest dungeon recommend
