A cute and funny wave survival game. Very fun to play at first, but gets difficult really fast. A real 'try, try again' sort of game. Randomised loot keeps things from becoming stale between runs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtJtmEWpehY
Eh.....this is a tough one to judge for me, as I was sent this one for review and it isn't my cup of tea to begin with. It's a simple gameplay premise: waves of enemies spawn on each level, and you shoot them with your bow, or jump over them. They drop objects that offer health, or coins, or things like bombs, but these are only mild additions to pretty straightforward mechanics. Coins can purchase end of level items that can help you along, though none of them really change up how it plays. There's just enough depth that it's not totally mindless, but not enough to be super involving, and I'd be lying if I said it caused an adrenaline rush or self satisfied moments of chin stroking at my intellectual prowess. Run, shoot, jump, repeat. There's nowt wrong with that - it's cheap, it's cheerful, it's fun for a bit even for me, but it's basic. Enemies have different behaviours, and the waves increase in intensity as these characteristics are introduced. If you're competitive, and will replay things over and over again to beat your score, or get on a leaderboard etc, then this may be more appealing to you. It's not really my thing though. It's responsive to play, but has some technical and design issues which I'll get to in a moment. For the price there is a passably entertaining game here (for a certain mindset), with a simple visual charm, very nice music (thumbs up for that!) and a smattering of dark humour. Worker ants have builders helmets on, fire ants are, uh, on fire and screaming in pain, ghost ants make a silly "wooooh" noise, and the likes. It's all fairly gentle stuff, but it has some pleasant character to it. BUT....the main reason it isn't recommended is due to technical issues. First off:any game that doesn't have controller support is dead to me! dead, I tells ya! Second of all: Okay - no controller support, and I must use *ptew*...the...keyboard...*yuck* so you do have rebindable keys, yes?...You do...n't? You don't have rebindable keys??!! *sad face, followed by mild indignation and the urge to shout "hey! you! yes, you, developer! this is 2019 - not the stone age!!!"* Third of all: I dunno if my keyboard is a bit sticky (blame *ahem* "adult entertainment" on the internet if it is) but sometimes the player character would get stuck shooting, or not move at all, and twice Windows interrupted the game to ask me if I wanted to set sticky keys on. I guess some combination of the fixed keys wasn't liked by it. A bit more thought, and coding finesse, and this would be a recommended (ish) as a cheap. cheerful, and simple diversion. Not exactly the kind of game I'd say is worth selling your kidney on the black market for, though I don't doubt that some people will enjoy it for what it offers. I'm, uh, not one of those people, but the control issues are my biggest problem with it overall. The title musics great though :)
ENG: Small roguelike before roguelikes were popular, its nice, we are a half ant half lion hubrid, the last of our species and we have been captured by the queen of the ants, so we must fight to the death in the coliseum against hordes of ants. It has no support for Gamepad the only thing I could criticize, the price is cheap and I loved that it has leaderboards.

I enjoyed this so much! When i saw the ''fire ants'' were actually on fire.. i lost it! LOL SO cute and I still have yet to beat the Queen.. it is TOUGH. A very fun challenge!
Zręcznościówka, która może i byłaby przyjemna, gdyby była dopracowana. Brak podstawowych opcji typu granie w oknie. Prosta a jednocześnie trudna ;) W sam raz na 10 minutowe posiedzenie przed kompem jesli zaraz musicie gdzieś wyjść. Plusik za tablicę osiągnięć. 3/10 za przypomnienie starych czasów :)
