Great acting but way to short and you can't even talk to everyone. I got to the first end in three hours. Buy on a 5$ sale. Many better FMVS for length of game. To short to even get invested.
If it is on sale for cheap, go for it. It's not terrible as long as you prepare for its flaws of slow pacing, zero time for decision making, and likely an ending that will feel incomplete. This was my first FMV game (not counting Netflix) and while it has a lot of potential and can tell a lot of effort was placed into its creation but it suffers from several major flaws - the biggest one being that there is almost zero time to select a choice. I played this with my mother and she had a great observation: The story plays out slowly in contrast to how impossibly fast the options fly. If they created a patch to pause the option screen (like they now offer in their other games) it would significantly improve the overall game play, but I feel that is unlikely (not sure if it is even possible). I understand why they did not include a pause, as it would stop the "movie" if you take more than the second to decide. The other meh about it is- it just ends. They attempt to weave an intricate story and then (at least based on first outcome I received) it comes off as very dissatisfying.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great FMV game, very well executed. The plot is a good example of the subject matter it touches on.
The story is compelling and it has a slightly creepy angle to keep you motivated. The acting is sort of eh. But they aren't off putting in any sort of way. I'm new to this sort of game and so far I quite like it. Honestly, my only real complaint is that it is frequently crashing on the steam deck. I have to regularly exit the game and then come back in to proceed. That's a bit annoying.
I can't for the life of me understand how this is steamdeck verified, it freezes every couple minutes near the end.
It's like a budget version of Eyes Wide Shut, the script is probably an output of an AI on drugs, the acting is a strange combination of weird, clumsy and creepy, and nothing makes any sense. Good for laughs or playing drunk, riduculously bad as a serious attempt to pass as an actual game.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ tide hotel, The meaning of life is taking hormones and doing british things.
3DO - CDi - SegaCD FMV FTW!
Extremely awful game.
