The Incredible Baron

This is another game where I have very mixed feelings in reviewing it. I mean overall the game is good and its addicting, however I will say you shouldn't 100% it. I as well as most people get stuck on 3-8 gold, the level is stupidly brutal in difficulty and is a rather extreme difficulty spike. But its a rather simple game with simple mechanics that sometimes you have to think to fully do well in it.

I greatly enjoyed this game, as did my six year old son. It's a lot of fun crafting a different strategy for each level based on what foes you expect to fight and collecting all the different units. The cutscenes are also well done and humorous. My son says it's his favorite game and wants to know when they'll make it into a movie. For my part, I hope there is a sequel!

This is how indie should be done: great game design, stable, polished and fun. The graphics and music in this game nail that retro feeling but the game design is modern and fairly deep. This game will enterain you far longer than a cup of coffee for about the same price!

Highly Recommend this game Although there might be a tag saying i recieved the game for free, dont let that think it changed my opinion. This can in my opinion be the next game that blows up like Plants Vs. Zombies for those of us that played it. It is fun, addicting, constantly adding features to the game, and having you unlock many goodies as you continue playing it, not to mention an amazing sountrack that I could not stop jamming to (with my only complaint being that it couldve looped better). For the first session I played for 9 hours and could not put it down. This is a genuinely fun game and deserves much more attention than it currently has. 10/10 Highly Recommend

The Incredible Baron es un juego bastante agradable visualmente que tiene una jugabilidad similar a la de un MOBA más que a la de un tower defense como tal, ya que nosotros tendremos que destruir el fuerte enemigo en menos de 5 min soltando "minions"/unidades que no podemos controlar y solo irán hacia adelante atacando a lo que se les cruce. [list] [*]*La campaña es corta con una historia que cumple y ya. Se puede re jugar en 3 niveles de dificultad (bronce, plata y oro) para desbloquear todas las unidades ya que tiene más de 40 y sinceramente en la primera pasada no llegamos a ver ni la mitad de ellas [*]*Su dificultad base es baja, se puede aumentar una vez que ganes el nivel, pero teniendo como única motivación el poder desbloquear unidades nuevas. [*]*No cuenta con escaramuza o multiplayer [*]*No hay facciones, en su lugar tendremos que elegir antes de cada combate un deck o "maso" donde elegiremos nuestras unidades y habilidades de apoyo, también el orden en que queramos que se vayan construyendo [*]*Las unidades las tendremos que ir consiguiendo al matar suficiente cantidad a lo largo de las misiones, literalmente tendremos que farmear el tipo de unidad que queramos [/list] [h1][b][u]En resumen:[/u][/b][/h1] Un juego agradable pero corto, con sus "Peros" en la dificultad y que para usar todas las unidades tengas que rejugar la campaña varias veces, pero no puedo decir que no fue entretenido, solamente que podría haber sido mejor. Una lastima por que el juego al terminarse aunque da curiosidad las unidades que no llegamos a ver en la primera vuelta (al menos en mi caso) no me apetece jugar todo de nuevo para ver y usar las nuevas.

Juegazo 100% recomendado. Lo consegui en un bundle y no me arrepiento nada.

Pokemon-esque educational game with a flair for the dramatic. Baron Buffon Hildegard might not be the hero the age of exlporation needed, but he was absolutely the hero that it deserved. A fun -- and at times challenging -- game that should be attractive to players from age six and beyond.
